Thoughts?
Been thinking about it more and more. Plus the price isn't too far out of reach currently (although car trouble isn't helping). Reading up on it as much as I can, but curious if anyone has their own personal experience/opinions that might help me. Thank you.

The only negative I've heard Angela is the chance that, if you plan to wait a while before having srs, the remaining scrotal skin will shrink and leave less material for vaginal construction. I have no direct knowledge, so I don't know if this would be something to consider, but I have heard it described, so you might want to talk with the surgeon about it beforehand.

What Ecstatic said is correct. Though it effectively cuts off testosterone and requires you to take less anti androgens ro none at all, the scrotal skin, which is a big part of retainign feeling and gaining depth in the vaginal construction, can shrink.
They recommend regular stretchign of it apparently, by hand. Though not sure how useful it is.

LOL! Gia, I just had the funniest picture in my mind of someone dangling from your scrotum! I mean, teabagging is maybe my favorite fetish, but scrotum dangling? I mean, like bungee jumping? heehee    Oh I'm baaaddd!!!
OK, sorry, had to get that out of my system. Seriously, I think it's just a matter of regularly taking matters in hand and, um, stretching to keep the skin loose. I don't know from any firsthand experience, only what I've read about the subject. Rose?

Grab and pull. Just as funny as it sounds.
The same way you would stretch anything. You just need to do it often enough that it doesn't atrophy.
This is of course, second hand knowledge. I've not gotten an orchiectomy, but I have heard this from a few people that have and from a website or two.
For as little progress as I have made into transition, I know so very much about it.

ROTFLMAO Honey if that's you trying not to be funny, you should get your own network comedy show! :D
On a more serious note Aly in England has also started a thread on this in which she mentions that her boys have retracted completely-- wouldn't the scrotal skin be as likely to shrink in this case?

Yes, I think that's true. I know a girl--one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen and the most beautiful I've been with, GG or TG--whose balls never descended, and she has very little scrotal sack as a result. Nice thick 7.5" member, though, and no intention of full SRS as she likes being the way she is.

If you are looking to do SRS then it is best that u DO NOT cut off your scrotum sack. Once u go through the orch. procedure, the skin that usually decends will shrink and make it more difficult for your surgeon to create additional depth withoput that crucial skin.
