An Ipod video or something practical? It's my birthday today and I set aside $350 for myself as a present. Any thoughts? Yeah I know this is an odd question but after shopping for umpteen relatives and friends I'm all shopping decisioned out.

Why don't you sponsor a child in Africa or somewhere? This will give you pleasure long after the iPod is an outmoded piece of junk.
Just a thought.

Finally done with my drive home and happy to report: $25 to the Red Cross and $75 to a local nonprofit youth organization. Not Africa but I did help best I could. The rest went towards savings for my (hopefully) soon move to British Columbia.

Good on you man! Since I provoked you I will make an equivalent donation to the cancer charity I support. It was about time I put my hand in my pocket for them again. :D :D :D :D :D :D
