im just curious about you guys who likes transexuals...what were you like as a child?cause i grew up with a boy not knowing about his likes for tgirls or guys even but all i can remember of him was his flambouyant personality almost like a gay boy,were you the same way back then? did you' re hands and wrist twisted the wrong way like a gay guy when youre not aware of it(im sure you know what i mean by that),? cause my friends did, i really thought he was 100%gay back then..i only found out he was into trans when i caught him in my local ts bar i was shocked,and he later confessed to me hes been with guys as well and work as a male escort..."this is the truth and nothing but the truth"...i just wanna know if you had the same flambouyant gay boy acting????

but i'll tell ya. i was a pretty typical kid for my time....crew cut with a davey crockett hat, shooting my friends with cap guns and the like. i was never flamboyant....one didn't show emotion in my home....too much emotion still makes me uncomfortable....blame my German/Lutheran upbringing. i was a big reader....loved old westerns too...grew up wanting to be John Wayne.

at 10, family moved from Baltimore to Washington & i got rafts of shite for being from Bawlmer, until i kicked the bejesus out of my leading tormentor. i grew into a reasonably successful jock through h.s., the navy & college. i got a degree in geology....now there's a faggy profession....and still find rocks are more intelligent and make more sense that a lot of people.

It's not stupid, it's just inexperienced. You hang around these places long enough and I guarantee you'll see every shade of opinion, and every possible definition of what "straight" might be....Whatever it is. You know what I mean.

There are a lot on shades of grey in between the black/white gay straight stereotypes. And in any case there isn't a correlation between being camp and being gay. Some gay men camp and some don't. Some straight men camp, though most don't.

ANyway I was a regular kid. Still am. :twisted:

The truth about guys that like transexuals. Hmmmmmm. It's simple. I know for a fact that many men are attracted to transexuals. It's just a matter of their own sexual preference and sexual identity in regards to how they would be perceived in society that trips up the male ego. Many many many men want the Freedom to have other sexual options besides genetic women. Men are feeling limited sexually because of how they want to be perceived in other people's eyes. Many men like transexuals but I do have the utmost respect for the Men that are on this site that are genuinely accepting and understanding. Much luv to the people on here that have a heart and an open mind.

I know, you were asking if they were camp. Is that getting lost in translation? :D Okay I mean a fondness for exaggerated and affected gesture, pose and body language, including the limp wrist and hand on hip things, possibly extending to speech forms and accent etc.

It's an interesting question. I honestly don't think I was like that, but maybe you'd have to ask someone who knew me then. And there are plenty of str8 men who camp-- you hang around with a theatre crowd or art people and you'll see lots of it, but it doesn't give you any clue at all as to the orientation of the person doing it. It's just fashionable in that circle. Granted there are probably more gays in these circles than in some others, but if my experience is anything to go by, people in these groups are into the full spectrum of sexual adventure. Tend to be more accepting of transgenderists too.

So to get back to your question there may be some degree of correlation, if the youthful camping tends to lead into a more artistic lifestyle choice where different sexual behaviour is accepted. If you are into the world of first nights and private views, you will run into transgender people, and come to accept them and maybe like them. What does your friend do for a living?
