I have been a member of AFF on/off over the past few years. I have not signed up for a paid gold membership yet, although they have gotten much more aggressive with marketing/soliciting me to sign up for a paid membership. lol.

I am wavering between caving in and satisfiying my curiosity and cough up the dough, or just say "Fuck that, I don't need to pay to find adult friends." LOL. I have met only two or three from AFF over the years I ve been a standard, nonpaying member. However, AFF swears I'll get laid more often if I get a gold membership or money guarantee back.. lol

Also, I am getting sick of the endless TS/CD online communities/groups all over the Internet (How many passwords for multiple sites do I have to remember now? lol) and the endless fakes/flakers from Craigslist crap. Chatrooms take up too much of my time as well.

So I wanna know if any one of you guys have signed up for a gold membership with AFF? Has it been worth your hard-earned pennies? :)

I have discovered several cases of false advertising on the part of AFF. If you take the time to check this you can discover that many of those hot singles mysteriously live in many different places. If you set your profile to say you live in DC you will see these hotties, then change it to NYC or LA or Toronto and wow, those same hotties live there too! The final straw for me was when I tried to change my sex from male to couple and they wanted to charge me $8.95 to make a change to my own profile! That's BS!

I wouldn't even consider using an online resource to find girls -- too inefficient. That's at least partly my fault since I'm very "different", as the forum may have noticed. (I'm lucky they didn't ban me yet.) Anyway, I'm not in the market so it doesn't matter.

Although I've heard a few people say good things about AFF and sites like that, the percentage of those who say positive things is small, less than 20%.

Most of the guys are shocked to find out the truth about me after bantering back and forth for a while. HotorNot ? Funny you should mention that. I was a member of CleverOrNever until they shut down. Members would pose riddles, discuss philosophical issues, and attempt to solve the problems of the world. They even had a subsection devoted to Sudoku which had it's own specialized notation.

The idea of the site was for men and women to find suitably clever partners and hook up without the need to post a pic. Of course, it was hopelessly naive and the site failed. Later, the web developer -- having learned a bitter lesson -- made a new site called DicPics which was enormously popular. I didn't join that one, though.

all there sites alt etc are now owned by a company that has conections into very bad sites and people.
id theft etc russian mob so on.
alot of sites are now selling people names and and info such as ebay so on even software you buy now that you paid for they sell your info and well you really have to watch yourself today to what you buy.
if you went to buy a soda and buger and they demanded your name,where you live your stats and ssi you would be out raged right.
but software today is kinda wild west for the most part.

AFF is about to be publically traded and part of the Penthouse group. It's an extremely legitimate company and although I have an issue with some of their marketing tactics, I've worked with them for years both as an affiliate and as a member of their sites, with nothing but positive feedback.

I've got to say, I've seen Ms. Dazzlers photos on there and enjoyed them a lot - and if I was closer, I'd be sending an email for sure to see if I had a chance :-) I've used their sites personally to meet tgirls to great affect in Hawaii and Los Angeles, and most of the girls I met were just great, down to earth girls who weren't part of an adult erotica scene and just looking for guys to date without having to go to the bars/clubs.

if your computer security is working both sites wont show in the internet zone and that means you cant log in unless you add them to the trusted zone and that means well good luck with worm putting a untrusted site known for it in a zone other then restricted zone.
that aside most firewall software with defence will just not display the site.

most anti spyware ,host programs etc will deny the cookie request or url redirect or not allow a zone request other then restricted zone.

The company in question - AdultFriendFinder.com is currently going through the process of becoming a PLC to be traded on the stockmarket. They wouldn't be able to do this, if they were banging cards or selling your information as you wrongly assert.

i dont think all companys do in porn.
infact many well known companys do this not just companys you think that might wanna make a buck.

however porn companys need to push hard on anti malware and virus cause it in there best intreast.
look at ebay they had poor protection and now there also on a list.
alot of the exploits come from 3rd party that attack sites thats why the industry needs strong action and good policys to keep confindence in the industry.
