now im just being overtly curious here. Im no newbie to trans as I have dated a few but Ive never had the balls to ask this question because I knew Id get hell for it.
What Male type habits do you still have?
like do you still pee standing up, does your male voice ever pop up from nowhere for no reason, & any other stereo-typical male behavior that i fail to remeber right now.
I dont mean any disrespect at all to any of the fine ladies here, Im just mind bendingly curious about if any male like behavior lingers.
personally I dont think I could ever give up the peeing standing up. its just too damn convienent. Voice wise even with all the practice & training in the world wouldnt be able to keep me from sounding just like my Dad when i coughed.
Just curious about what may linger if anything does. Or just tell me Im being an ass & Ill die with this question unanswered.

OMG!!! I NEVER EVER EVER EVER PEE STANDING UP!!.
I'm gonna tell ya'll a story real quick.... Back in May I had met a boy on TGpixel (who shall remain nameless) from Virginia and he came to my condo to stay with me for a weekend. Everything was fine for the first day but the next morning amidst brushing teeth n all that morning time stuf he saw me sitting down and peeing. He had the pur unadulterated gull to say... "you don't gotta sit down for me, i know u stand up". I fussed him out so terribly. The rest of the weekend was ruined for me and although we've said hello online twice since he left I WILL NEVER HAVE THE DESIRE TO BE AROUND HIM AGAIN.
end of story.
Now in regard to your voice slipping... wow, all i can say is thank god me n jordan are blessed with very feminine voices. AMEN!! sorry for those who aren't. If you are blessed ladies I suggest you give thanks cuz alot aren't.

ooh damn, yeah that is a bit insulting to hear in the morn.
pretty much shows that he just doesnt have any personal boundry awareness & tact.
also a very good reason why I never really brought it up with any of me ex-es. Im sure in the right context I wouldnt have been crucified for asking the PEE question, but I just played it safe. (also the girls i have dated would ask me 100 times a day if they looked feminine enough, so any stupid curiosity I had would seal my doom)
so i ask here cause you girls seem very cool about any topic brought up.

Is this supposed to be a joke or what? The fact that you are even thinking about those stuff bespeaks that you do not regard the Tgirls you date as women one hundred and one percent fully as women. As such, I don't think there is really "gender"-labeled behavior. Women burp and spit, men bake cakes. Peeing standing up is a matter of semantics, it has to do with physical anatomy. It does not reflect whether a person is feminine or not in any way at all.

Women burp and spit....
ah, MsDazzler, sound like you're familiar with a saying at the restaurant i work in in Rockville, Md.. You can take the girl out of Germantown, but you can't take the Germantown out of the girl.

Wtf kinda qurestion is this, your just curious? Why do you even care about the male habbits unless your gay and like males. Man do we have some strange people on this board.
wow to mark thats a very brave topic you brought up here :D ,most guys i know and dated would prolly have never wanted to date me again ones they see anything manly or boyish but i guess you're just one of those level headed kinda guy  i would be more comfortable being with someone like you incase a slip in a burp and a fart in the bedroom :D but yeah girls do fart burp and spit as well cause i know my mum does fart and i teaze her about it...
All I know is that I wouldn't marry a girl unless she scratches her balls in public.

im with you on that, seriously tho i know it sounds funny but i love it when a girl beltchs, not burps and farts in front of me. i think its the biggest compliment when a girl farts in front of me because girls just dont do that. and for a girl to do that truly means she is comfertable with me i know is funny but hey.....thats love to me :D

personally mark4tg, i think its a good question. it may be offensive to some but a good question none the less and some people unfourtantly arnt civil minded enought to understand that and why its a good question.....its a shame

burps, farts, peeing, pooing, etc... it's all a part of life and such a minor thing. if a girl is comfortable enough to do that in front of me, good for her!

It is hardly a good question. Tgirls strive so hard to be feminine and be like women. When you bring up this topic or ask them this question, it is like a harsh reminder in the face. Why bother dating them if you want to seek and focus on what male habits they may possess? I know, personally, I would be very offended if any guy who I dated harped on whatever male habits or issues I have. For one thing, it is hard for most Tgirls to overthrow years of male conditioning. Secondly, what benefits will you get out of recognizing and critiquing whatever male habits a Tgirl may possess? If you wanted to hammer the male habits out of them or mold them into your idealized image, you might as well go become a Tgirl yourself and see how it is. Lastly, again, there is no really gender-specific habits.

I don't think it was meant to be a bad question and might just be taken wrong to often.
I also agree with Dazzler that most habits are not male or female, but are instead stereotyped as one or the other. When you are dealing with changing mannerisms, the way you walk, the way you look, the way you sound, and every other little thing about you, there are of course things that will slip through the cracks or are not important enough for you to worry about at the time.
As for something like sitting down to pee. Well, I dunno, but I think until I have to sit (SRS), or when I am in the lady's room, I might just go for convenience over experience. It is a completely personal issue whether you choose to sit all the time or stand, but for me, unless someone is watching for whatever reason (you pervert get out of my bathroom! lol) then I don't see why I shouldn't just take the easier path.

i only say it was a good question because as a male we DONT know first hand what you ladies go through. we know where you came from and where youre going but we dont know the journy. you girls know first hand that some guys only want you for WHAT you are, but beleave it or not some of us want you for WHO you are, and only wish to know what its like to be you and all the hardships that you must endure because its a part of what makes you who you are. you ladies have so much to over come and i wish more people would recognize that. i never ment to offend
and im sure mark didnt either
as a side note i also agree that there arnt and "male" and Female" habits but socity labels them as such.
sory if i spelled really horible today but im not wearing my glasses at the moment

Dazzler, Im hardly harping or fixated on wether a gril still holds on to certain male stereotypical behavior.
I understand the plight of attaining femininity for girls & what not, but there is also the account of gentics & instincual & learned habitual behavior.
I merely asked because Im freaking curious & the girls I have dated would have acted exactly like you are.
Xander makes an awesome point. How are we to get to know Tgirls if we dont ask questions to further our understanding. Shit Ive asked questions like this to normal girls. Im a guy, I know & understand my shit. How am I gona learn about others without asking.
Like I said the reason I even asked is because my past Tgirlfriends would ask me about 50 times a day if they looked feminine enough or acted feminine enough, for no damn reason than complete insecurity. So if I would have even bothered to ask a question like "So what kinda boyish stuff do you still do?" I would have been slapped & dumped in a fraction of a hearbeat. Im not meaning to insult anyone but merely learn more. Its also a creatain attitude type Ive run across while talking to Tgirls. Not all mind you but as soon as you question something within gender context, Im automatically thrust into a category with all the other chasers & pervs. Fuck that, I just want to understand more.
From the responses I totally individual, like all people are. IF you came out totaly feminine acting, sounding, & looking since Day 1, AWESOME for you. How the hell am I supossed to know if i dont ask? Also the question has alot to do with human's self-centered ideas. One thinks their own life isnt much different than their own. So one assumes that a MTF girl once had a normal childhood as a boy where one would pick up male behavior.
Obviously Im a bit off in thinking that some behavoir would still stick, which thankfully is teaching me more about you girls.

i dont really think that being sucked is a man habit, you were born with it so i guess its youre way of getting off, because when i wasnt taking hrt,i didnt mind playing with my part at all, although when i man puts his mouth on it it made me not feel femenine at all so i couldnt maintain erect, ive never cum in my life when i man went down on me,but i ccould only org when i play with it my self.how wierd is that,,,and when i started hrt i didnt even want to play with her anymore making me want to get my sex change:-s but the more i had my bf played with it it can be very accepting for me even if i dont get my sex change at all 8) :D  :P
all i knew is that i never went into a males cubicle and stood up next to them revealing them that i had a cock too and never scratched my balls i think :? maybe i was shy too :?

you know what they say... curiosity killed the cat.... Mark, in some cases, curious questions are inappropriate when asked to a particular individual. In this case, you killed me. LOL
