The Package of LOve

I thought for a while that love is the greatest thing that everyone wanted to have. Since I started my schooling what my teachers view in regards to love was so great, love was so powerful to the extent it is glorified by anyone. Everywhere I go the concept of love is good its the ultimate weapon to fight evil in this world. Love can break any barriers, spells, rules, laws, principles name it, and theres nothing can overthrow the power of so called love. (According to what my environment believes in about love).

For me LOVE is unfair, in a relationship theres always someone who gives love more than the other, the presence of being superior and inferior takes place,. Why? Is it because the other one looks more beautiful than the other? Is it because the other one has more resources? Is it because that the other one is afraid of being alone, or be left alone? Or the other one is more ambitious than the other? These things simply gives me an impression that love can never be fair, neither, just or equal. I also view LOVE is the same thing as MONEY.

People work so hard to acquire money for them to be happy, the same thing with love people tend to insert effort to win love in order to be happy. People needs money in order to have a life, on the other hand, we all know that money is the root of all evil, how come that this so called evil is the one that man needed in order to live? We need evil for us to have a life? In relation to LOVE, as far as i understand, they have the same process how people work to earn money, it is only that I assume love starts backward, at first it gives happiness, life, smile, security etc.... but it the end theres always someone who will suffer the great pain no one can imagine. Either way nothings eternal in this place. Theres nothing ahead, theres only something what we left behind, same thing what others left behind for us. So! what love does to those they left behind? Is it happiness to lose or leave someone and be left behind? ( People sacrifices to earn money at first at the end they will be happy, in love people are happy in the beginning at the end, no matter what the cause is, it will result to pain).

Love for me is extreme, theres no midpoint or average. Either we are happy or sad, thats it, is there such thing in between these concepts? The willingness to be happy in love simply says that we are willing to be sad too its the package that we have to accept. We cannot pick those things that may only serve our interest and discard things which we think unwanted. The package of love comes with a price we have to pay.

Is there a package designed for everyone? People were so clever they have the capacity to turn the world upside down by identifying the counterpart of such idea, ( i.e. how can you identify happiness if theres no such thing as sadness or if you dont know the concept of what is wrong how can you manage what is right). The question is thus, love has its own counterpart? unloved or unbeloved? What is the anti-thesis for love? Is there a study that can show the amount of pain we may occur of loving someone? If theres answer to these questions, Im willing to trade my entire faith just to free me from the burden of what love left for me...

Let me know about your own opinions when it comes to love. Share with me your perspectives about love, what love is and what it is to love and to be loved. I will be glad to post your insights and opinions here in my personal blogs...

Very interesting, Sundee. While I don't hold much with "average" love (what a concept!), I do think there's a range or spectrum of love, from extreme to non-existant.
