i enjoyed it at first, but it fell off my schedule when they went to a rerun after only 4 episodes (or was if 5). anyway, it broke continuity for me

I didn't like when they went to showing reruns, nor did I like when they moved the show to a Tuesday Night.
I was happy to see Carla Guggino, Brent Spiner, and Charles S. Dutton all working again.

I'm still enjoying lost and eagerly awaiting Galactica to come back.
At least now you know what it feels like to have a show go "poof" so early. I miss Firefly. At least the movie was fantastic (Serenity).

You got that right, rose. I just wish serenity had made enough box office for sequels, but that seems unlikely.
Galactica is great, though, and the best surprise in sf since the original matrix movie came out.

I think Joss knew the box office would be small. He comes across as a guy who makes shows for people to enjoy and not just for the money. He will rake up the $$$ in DVD sales.

I'll pretty much watch anything that Joss writes. He can make the back of a cereal box funny and interesting. There's still the chance that Serenity will make big bucks overseas so there still could be a sequel.
I hadn't been that disappointed by an early hook of a series since CBS cancelled American Gothic right when it was hitting its stride. I still haven't forgiven them and refuse to watch anything on that network. Mahalo

From what I've read, Earl seems to be doing well enough to survive another year or as long as Jason Lee wants to do it.
It's the only new show I actually watch. I've only caught a couple of AD episodes and liked what I saw but I hardly ever watch
anything but football on Sundays. The show that's going away this year that's most disappointing IMO is Scrubs. God, what a funny show.

My Name is Earl is another great show. I do not get to see it regularly, but fortunately awhile back they had a mini marathon of the show and I watched all the episodes in one night.
To many good shows get canceled but one that i hated was farscape but we got a petition and looked what happen they made a tv movie.

I only caught one episode of threshold and am sorry to see it go.
As for Galactica, I've been going nuts waiting for the new season especially the way they cliffhangered last season. Oh well it's a great show and surprisingly I used to work with the brother of the girl who plays starbuck. small world eh?
