US House passes bill extending gay rights

A bill sponsored by Senator Kennedy extending more rights to gays in hate crimes passed the US House, extending protections regardless of sex, orientation, gender or gender identity.

So we'll just get the same treatment as anyone else would in this country... Oh I feel so safe.

Maybe one day we will all be treated as equals. But no matter what the law says there will always be bigotts and homophobes to make us afraid to hold hands and kiss the one we love... especially here in the South.
