ive always wonderd how you girls feel about this. personaly i dont like that they call the transexual ladies "men" i think it makes yall look like a novelty act or something and people dont take yall seriously. am i the only one who feels this way? am i being overly sensitive?

I been Invited many times to these shows and I always say NO...
I aint no loser than needs to hustle a talk show for tickets to any Big City and just for that let everyone let make a fool out of me!...trust me I can afford that and more...not willing to sell mysef to the media this cheap :wink: ...desperate diva wanna bes looking for attention use all the help they can get...so good for them...but I think a bit more ambitious...

I used to find ou twhen these were on and DID everything in my young power to watch these, And maybe this was the inner fascination of me, and maybe i have known all my life. Because i used to ALWAYS watch those shows, until i got older and didnt like the fact that they are labeled MEN!... Also hearing the "Wrong" Comments from family who watched it, I guess thats what kept me from even opening up to my family a long long time ago. Hearing dad n bro saying THEY MAY LOOK LIKE WOMEN BUT THEY ARE STILL FAGS! which in time, it turned out my brother was too macho to accept me, and my father loves me regardless but only over the phone because he doesnt want to meet Angelika... Anyways

Sorry for going off subject, but now i think these shows are really wrong in the Labelling, why cant the say Transsexual instead of MAN!
BTW Sounds like Hipocracy on my side cause of my avatar... Those shows are a JOKE, i mean they all go out painted like they are in a National pageant, And almost all the well known "superstars" ( yawn) are the first clocked! But all in all it is a good way to kill some time before the really informative shows come on. Oh and don't get me started on his "paternity test" shows..ugh

woohoo im new & my first post here.
i dont really see the Maurry shows too degrading. everyone is voluntering to be there & its not like it turns into a horrible ambush show. Its just fun & kinda like a bar type game. No one is getting hated on or anything. I would say it would be worse for the GGs on there cause they are being scrutinized more for having manly features than TS are.
In the end its beats yet another " You Are NOT The Father" episodes, thats human degradation right there. For the skank hoes that dont know who the baby's daddy is & the guy who is automatically labeled as Evil before any results are handed out.
Maurry is an all around horrible day time show but at least when its a fun episode it about fun than humiliation.

i been on that show 4 times 3 times for man or woman and ones for cosmetic surgery
i personally have no problem with it
people remember that before we can be happy with any one we have to be happy with ourselves
words only have as much power as you give them
the fact that someone says or calls me something does not bother me
i have had fun with the show and they have always done it all on my terms as far as flights hotels compensation ect and in the 4 times i been on the show i made around 12K (and no i did not need a free trip to NY)
does this make me a media hungry tacky silicon filled girl?? maybe
but i have used that to promote myself and it has made me money and i have made other contacts from that show
maybe i see things differently because of the nature of my biz!!! i dont know! but
i personally think that its rude to judge others or even call them names just because they do something we would not do some of the post on this are so hateful and rude!

I didn't even know GIA went on that show. When I said tranny "superstar" I was talking about Allanah and on top of that I had no idea that they paid. How long ago were u on Gia cuz I never saw one with u in it? But damn 12 grand is pretty decent now that u mention it. Seems alot more understanding then just a trip to the city.

Well I personally would never go on a show where an audience is chanting "that's a MAN", but that's just me, and I do seriously feel Maury is ghetto like Jerry in comparison to other talk shows. The Tyra Banks Show???? are you serious??? All I've seen is through "The Soup" (on E!) but that show is nothing but ridiculed... it's a show that always focuses on Tyra.
