I met Jahna in Austin back in 1994. She was one of the funniest people, and by far the funniest woman, that I ever met. The brief time I spent with her made it clear that she was very special, and someone you'd want to watch out for and help if there ever was a need.

If you knew her, you would agree that she really did touch people.

I was lucky enough to meet Jahna a couple of times and to introduce her to some of the girls who went on to be in her pageant and in Trantasia. She was one of my idols, and was as beautiful and funny and gracious in person as she seemed to be when I had seen her on tv.

I never met her however I knew her story and it was inspiring. I recall seeing her on TV back in the day. Her's was one of the first Images of a TS i saw that were not negative. Reading about how her life has been since then and now her death was disheartening to say the least.

I will say a special prayer for her.
