San Francisco or California?

I have noticed that most of tgirls in USA live in San Francisco or in California. Is there any special reason for that? I mean better living conditions, laws ..or

just curious.

Hmm, I think you need to look a little closer. The city with the most TGs is undoubtedly NYC (no big surprise there, as NYC with 8 million people leads in most areas). SF might have a higher per capita count, I don't know. Also South Beach FL, Boston, DC, Chicago, and elsewhere.

Well from what I saw on Halloween, there are a significant number in San Francisco. Annually there is a street party in "The Castro" This area is the center of the Gay and Transgender area of the City.

For example, this is a T-Girl I took a picture of while at the party. I was with some friends who don't know about Rochelle, or about my friendship with T-Girls otherwise I would have glady introduced myself.
It was really a blast to visit the area.

New York has the most by numbers, I believe most live on the coasts or Chicago because that is where there are more liberal beliefs. The middle of the country is a little less tolerant (not all just a large number). Halloween in the Castro is great as is the Exotic Erotic Ball, and many of the clubs in the city (SF).

And if you combine SanFran, LA, & hell even Tijuana, you'll have a significant tg population to enjoy. [/u]

Thats not true.........
The "CASTRO" is the gay mecca in san francisco....
There are clubs and restaurants and shops all around the castro....
Many "upscale" gays live in the areas surrounding the castro and in a place called Noe Valley.
And......many straight families have moved in because its a nice quite neighborhood.
Now.
The center of life for transgenders is in a place called the TENDERLOIN.
Divas nightclub formerly known as the MOTHERLOAD is located in the tenderloin.
The tenderloin is crawling with TG and TS people.
The tenderloin is one of the seediest areas of san francisco......AT NIGHT.
Many of the girls work the streets in the tenderloin and that is also where you will find gg hookers also.
You rarely see any transgenders in the castro.........the bars are all geared towards a white male patronage.

Oh and about the holloween party in the Castro?
It use to be almost exclusively gay people that would go there and it was a VERY LOCAL phenomenon.
Its was mainly people from the neighborhood and the city.........GAY PEOPLE that attended this function and it was unbelievably fun.
Now all the straight people come over their ......AND GAY BASH OF COURSE.
Its horrible now..........I wouldnt recommend it and I DONT GO.
Honestly,you all needed to have seen what it was before........
To me its an embarrasment that they let those people come there now.

San Francisco is probably THE MOST tolerance city for anyone with an "alternate" lifestyle.
The city is VERY gay and TS friendly.
You dont have to worry about getting beat up or anything like that.
The club life ISNT what it use to be but there are more of them now.
In the summer and fall there are MANY festivals and things to go to such as the FOLSOM street fair,the CASTRO street fair,the HAIGHT street fair,the NORTH BEACH street fair,ect........
If you are a cinema buff San Francisco offers you many alternative venues to go to such as the ROXY theather and other that showcase independant films.
The theather in the CASTRO is probably the best in the city for pure luxury and nostalgia.
Of course there is fishermans wharf but in my opinion its a tourist trap.
But there are lots of upscale place to eat and spend your money and there are tours to ALCATRAZ and marin county.
The are also many hiking tour to the mountains and bike trails and the golden gate bride.
Believe me......there are people on the golden gate bridge EVERY DAY!
The view from across the bridege looking back down on SanFrancisco is breathtaking!
There is a HUGE asian population in san francisco and with that many asian cultural influences.
Of course the CHINA TOWN in San Francisco is world famous.........you have to go there to see it and many people do to go eat and purchase goods.
San Francisco is a VERY expensive city to live in.
Outrageous in fact.
Many of the people that live here are rich,you kinda have to be.
There are many land marks and places to see.........
I think its the most beautiful city ive ever been to.
