ok iam curious on this difference point of view .

i notice most woman get upset if a man complitement them on their body.
while most man take it in pride if a woman compliment them on their body .

same thing on color . black people get upset if a white tell them : hey you look pretty for a black woman .

while white people will take it as pride also , same way as when a man get compliment on is ass.

why is it so different on how people react to these situation ?

Well for one, using this:

"hey you look pretty for a black woman"

Why not just tell the pretty woman she looks good, just because the woman is black, doesnt mean she isnt as pretty as any other ethnic background woman, that makes it sound like she is only as pretty as the ugliest "racehere" woman.

Could be taken as a tad bit racist.

well i know i never use the sentence before .
but the curiosity got the better of me .

i know how i would react if a black woman came to me and said :
hey i think you look sexy for a white man.

my reaction would be this - i be honord for that compliment , since most black woman date black man , it really mean she think i am cute . i be happy for it and welcome her if she wanted to date me .

so why is the perception different from people to people ?

Because when you qualify something like that, it's really an insult. "You're pretty smart... for a man." It's saying that generally, all "x" aren't that smart, or good-looking, but amazingly you stand out from the rest.

The only reason someone would take it as a compliment is if they're not really thinking about what it means.

That's pretty smart ... for a human.

Yea, it annoys me when a hot babe gets annoyed when ya tell her she looks good. Or if a chick dressed up all hot and gets annoyed people check her out.

It's not so much being annoyed at you telling us or noticing us looking good. It's probably that it's done awkwardly, grossly, or with some followup in mind like "Hey you look really good! Now that I've noticed, can we have sex?" That sort of thing

Does anyone else remember the old public service announcement with grandpa and a boy fishing in a little rowboat?

Boy: Grandpa, yesterday Jimmy said I was prejudiced.
Grandpa: Do you know what prejudice is?
Boy: No
Grandpa: Well, prejudice is when you react to someone because of their religion, or their color.
Boy: But I don't do that!
Grandpa: Who is Jimmy?
Boy: Jimmy's one of my Jewish friends.
Grandpa: Then you are prejudiced, because you think of Jimmy as your Jewish friend, and not your friend.

YouTube - 1980 PSA Prejudice

Of course there is the Offspring's "Pretty Fly for a White Guy" :-)

Just two things that popped into my mind reading this thread.

True!...but...and I really don't mean to belittle the PSA with this comment Delila... is it just me...or does Grandpa seem to be reading?

It's better if you're speaking them rather than their breasts. Eyes up buddy.
