Jean-claude are you referring to Mon fantome d'amour? That was a really big hit and I remember it passing very often on tv...

Hmm... I don't remember many movies I watch, sad huh? :p

But I did love Ghost, it was sooo romantic yet tragic.. :( And Brokeback Mountain, that frustrated me so much >.< Why's he have to get killed in the end?? :crybaby: omg :(

I don't really remember any others... though I know I've seen a few, and I got into them so much... yet they're always so damned frustrating  I'm a sucker for love and I love to see two people madly in love with each other... makes me feel so good :) Except when they're always pulled apart at some point, makes me want to cry and pull out my hair or something lol :(

Nope, this was an american film with...... (dammit, Mr Zheimer is visiting me often these times)... I forgot the names of the main actors of the movies.

The man was First Role in "Dirty Dancing".
And the woman is a short-haired brunette who played a female (I really don't like this adjective) Lieutenant in US Army.
AH! Last detail : there's Whoopy Goldberg playing a medium in this "Ghost" movie.

That's me, I forgot their names... :(

For me that would be "As Good As It Gets". Witch Jack Nicholson and Helen hunt. Nobody plays crazy like Jack, nobody. I liked that nether of thier characters were perfect.

DOWN WITH LOVE!! (you've probably never seen it, or if you saw a trailer thought it looked stupid, but it is such a brilliant film)

also KISSING JESSICA STEIN, forgetting momentarily its hook is that its a lesbian movie, the great thing about it is (i don't want to blow the ending) it shows the FULL course of a relationship, not simply ending at the hollywood moment.

just as an aside:
the line from that movie "you make me want to be a better man" is a total panty-wetter and its vague enough that even girls who have seen the movie don't realize its from there when you say it.

Um... Big Trouble In Little China.
What do you mean it's not a love movie?
Seriously though, I enjoyed Better Than Chocolate. Even if you don't care for love movies, watch it for the humor. Oh and the song "I'm Not a Fucking Drag Queen".

I don't much watch romance films but I like romantic comedies cause they got a lot of guy humor...haha ok, the most romantic movie I've actually watched is A Walk in the Clouds and also not exactly a romance film but I can relate to some of what Good Will Hunting had to offer in terms of relationship or career. I'll chose relationship...

Yep that is exactly it, the French name for that movie was ''Mon fantome D'amour'' just to let you know ;) I remember having to watch it with my mom and sister even if I didn't want to.... if I'd watch it again today I'd probably like it tough.

Blade Runner.

When you go from... "Replicants are like any other machine" to "Say 'kiss me'", that's falling in love. Deckard recognized that Rachel wasn't a thing, a creation - she was a person with a soul.

Its about a girl who fell in love with her best friend a guy, who was gay, have any of you ladies ever fell for your little gay friends, or any butch queen you've seen . I think I just may make a thread about tis..lol

OMG! I used to seriously sneak to watch that movie! I got my Grandfather to buy me the soundtrack along with this Rainbow Brite doll I really wanted...and my mom was going crazy trying to find that tape and destroy it! LOL My big brother told her our Grandfather got me the cassette and my mother knew ALL TOO WELL what Prince was all about!
*sigh*
That was my first and one of my most FAVORITE cassette tapes that I had owned when I was a kid!

Guys aren't supposed to like romantic comedies, but I do. I enjoy watching movies like "Love, Actually" which I think is one of the best movies about love since it looks at different types of love. "The Princess Bride" is a great film. I enjoyed "50 First Dates", "Serendipity", "Ten Things I Hate About You", "Sleepless in Seattle", "The Wedding Singer", "When Harry Met Sally" and older movies like "The Graduate" and "Some Like it Hot".

Then there's more serious films like "Jerry Maguire" or "The Notebook" which I found a little slow but which had a very beautiful and romantic ending, "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", "Casablanca" and others.

And some of the lines from those films really are the stuff of poetry.
