(Rethinking) Gender
A growing number of Americans are taking their private struggles with
their identities into the public realm. How those who believe they were
born with the wrong bodies are forcing us to re-examine what it means to
be male and female.

More positive movement in the media: progress may seem painfully slow, but it is happening. Thanks, Maggie.

Perhaps the media attention and all of the pending legislation,
will cause people both within the community and society at
large, that we are a force to be reckoned with.

Perhaps, our day has finally come.

Now we just need a really catchy, cool catch-phrase for a
battle cry.

Because, "We're here, we're queer, get used to it" doesn't
speak for us.

Any ideas on a catchy slogan?

I can't wait to talk with you more about your writing, Vickie. There's so little out there, you really have to dig I think. Did I ask you if you've read Hermaphrodieties by Kaldera?

LOL! Well put, wondergirl. One transwoman I know prefers the term "phallic women."
