Traumatized and I apologize...

I apologize I have not posted a lot here lately after the tgpixel party few weeks ago...

I was traumatized because I got mugged/robbed last Saturday with my best friend walking to his house after clubbing in northeast D.C. It happened around 4 am.

It happened ina blink of eye. A black man and a black woman working in a duo went after us. The man went after my best friend who was a male and hit him on his head with a beer bottle to disable him from helping me.

The woman went after me, whom she thought was a woman too, since I was dressed. She tried to snatch my purse, thinking I was easy prey. I resisted as she grabbed my arm hard. When I resisted, unexpectedly, she punched me in the face. So HARD that I had blood coming out of my mouth and all over my dress... Then pain in the jaw for days to come.

After the blow, I was stunned, and fell down. That gave the muggers the window to grab my purse and make their getaway in a car.

In my purse, everything valuable I had in it was gone. My cell phone, my wallet, my credit cards, my driver license, $25, favorite make up. :(

The muggers did charge up $400 on my cards but I called Bank of America to dispute it.

Sigh, it has been a traumatizing week, having to explain to everyone what happened again and again because I ahve bruises/scars from the mugging.

im so sorry to hear that, the world is funny, they will get theres. i know its suck not know when or where or even that you cannot dish out their punishment yourself but the powers that be will correct any wrong doings. i hope you feel better soon and i hope this dosent discourage you from coming to the next party, i have read a few of your post and even responded to a few and would love the chance to meet you

Jesus, MsDazzler, I'm glad you're all right... that's what's important. If they had a car, they're not your usual muggers. Did you report them to the police? (Not that that does much good, but if a series of muggings happen in the same area, they might do something.)

So sorry to hear about that Ms. Dazzler. There are people in this world that are evil like that. What you should of done is to put an alert on your credit card so that when these criminals tried to use it, they would either be detained at the store or you would of got an address if they had ordered anything to be shipped. As a transexual woman, You have to learn to be just as crafty and make sure that no one can get over on you. You should always have it where no one can use your credit card without your authorization. If you would have done this, Not only would those 2 be in jail, They would have several charges against them. You had the power to turn those 2 out. You could have took there freedom away for years. Remember, You have the advantage always.

MsD, I am so sorry to hear about this. Totally sucks! At least you weren't more badly injured, but it sounds like you took a good blow to the face. I hope it heals quickly. Is your friend OK?

Thanks for your condolences, you guys. My best friend Wade got a pretty bad blow to his head, but otherwise he is alright. I still have pain in my jaw, it is difficutl to move comfortably but it is healing. How shall i ever SUCK someone again? LOL

I sat with the police yesterday for an interview. Apparently, the muggers were DUMB FUCKS because they took pictures with my cell phone of themselves. They apparently didnt realize that I could access my T-Mobile account online and enter my picture gallery! So the police have something concrete to go on. :-)

i had a kind of similar incident too,although i was working the street doing oral on some guy...its true when they say looks can be decieving<"trust youre instinct...anyway this client of mine kept taking his time on purpose pretty much didnt care about the time limit.so i thought hold on hes trying to rip me off so i just left him there after that 20 min glory of oral i gave him,which i thought he already got his moneys worth,the bastard didnt even give me the full amount of the price which was fix for oral jobs

Anyhow as i walked off the bastard started calling me a slut and all the harsh name calling for a female you can think of, and how he wanted to hurt me and threatened to beat me..so i thought bring it on since he already made me half pissed off wanting to shred him to pieces also..but never realised how serioused it was going to get,then the next minute he started chasing after me around the alley ways as he got near he tried punching and kicking but i blocked and dodge them but was kicked on the side a few times,little did he know i wasnt afraid to fight back and gave hima few hit with my ambrella to the face,started pulling my hair swung me around abit and let go,luckyly i got away and ran to the highway where all the crowd were so he wouldnt come near me,it was a close call to being beaten up but it was worth fighting back so incase next time he tries it on another tgirl he can think twice about it.

and i forgot to tell you that he also tried stealing my bag i think that was the whole reason he flipped out so he can try and steal my earnings :evil:

First let me say how sorry I am to hear that this happened to you.
I hope you and your friend fully recover from your injuries and hope these scum get caught and go to jail.

I am a black man who hates the criminality that is CONDONED by elements of the black community.
Elements of our so-called "culture"....i.e the hiphop element have for years praised and PROMOTED thuggism,criminality and brutish antisocial behavior in general.
Listen to most rap music and you hear rappers brag about things SUCH AS what happend to you Ms.Dazzler.
It is sickening to me.
Black culture by and large PROMOTES this lawlessness and its wrong.....my culture,the culture of my ethnicity is in freefall.
These "thugs" and criminals must not be praised and encouraged but obliterated.
Washington D.C by and large is run by blacks and unfortunately it is a sesspool.
Until we as blacks condemn this criminality and the elements that promote it we will continue to be seen as lesser than other racial groups.

They did not think it was necessary to include what race they are. The editor retorted that it was just fact-reporting. What do you think?

It is part of a description and not a knock on anyones race. It would be the same in any police report or store security memo. You cannot simply describe someone's features without mentioning if they are caucasian, asian, mexican, black, etc...

With regard to race, there are people who get pissed off at anything. If they said "African-American," that would piss off a different bunch of people who don't like that term. I've read more than my fair share of university newspapers and can point out the famous "Water Buffalo incident" on my campus. The details have been shrouded over time, but it involved a group of large black girls singing and waking up a frat house at 5am in the morning and a frat brother poked his head out the window and called the group "water buffalos". I think the remark was meant more to downgrade the group's girth than race, but since water buffalos are black, it turned into this huge race thing and the controversy lasted for several weeks.
