Hey...
I enjoyed reading that article...I felt like it allowed people to realize that transgender women can be employed in positions other than retail work, beauty shops, nightclub/bar positions, showgirls, or escort services. (though these are not HORRIBLE positions- I believe diversity and DISPLAYING such diversity is a BEAUTIFUL thing!)
But... just a few criticisms... like when she said
It is a natural occurrence — unusual, no question, but natural.
I kind of cringed a bit and felt a small percentage of the population who were BEGINNING to truly accept Transgenderism as something that can be deemed "normal" slipping back into their thinking of how "strange" it may be... thanks to a transitioning transwoman, with a pen. (Hey, words are POWERFUL)
But overall- I thought it was decent. LOL... I can just IMAGINE people reading this and thinking... AAACK !! THEIR EVERYWHERE!!!

in the grand scheme of things, the occurrence of transgender really is pretty rare and you add to it that the general topic is hid under a rock for the most part.
but I think any positive light shed on the subject will increase awareness of real issues and make people start to think of TSs as just like any of us other assholes :) .

Becoming the flavor of the decade. Every so often a new controversial issue is put into the spotlight. More and more were inching into that bright light. But with that light comes with hate or fear. It can, however, enlighten more people.

I hope 'sheep and the men who love them' sees the light of day soon. And not the harsh glaring light of 'springer', but the warm soft light of public acceptance.
