I'm a Kelis fan also.Right now my favorite song by her is a toss between "trilogy" and "like you".I always felt that see could go to any genre in music.She seems more like a alternative artist hiding out in the r&b slash rap zone imo(like Pink use to do).Too bad her different sounding songs don't get the exposure like "bossy".Her record company didn't even realease"trick me" in the U.S because of poor record sales.This was easily a club hit(like I know how to market her in the industry). :supz: :rock:

I saw this... I think that if Bjork and Kelis collaborated on a song... the world wouldn't be ready. Bjork is already going over people's heads with "Earth Intruders" and everyone in the hip-hop community thinks Kelis is "too wierd" so they should get together and flip the damn music world upside down!!!

I just love her, Wondergirl... the hair... the coat... the music... the simplicity of the video... and not to mention the fact that in the midst of all these other music artists that make videos that have NOTHING to do with their songs... Kelis' song is called "Lil' Star" and her video? is about her looking up in the sky at singing constellations....
makes sense to me!!

Yeah, Jordan.... it's a real "keep your head up in the face of adversity" song... I think all Transwomen (and people in general, for that matter)
need to listen to this song when we're feeling down... and remember just how special and blessed we all truly are!!

You know... I actually ALWAYS saw her taking that unique path /being a forward thinker.... i've listened to the songs that she had previously released (solely to the public in the UK....on the UK Itunes site :( ) and her style could never be "labeled"... she even did a country sounding /rap song on her latest album (LOL it's called "circus") The sad part is... the US can't label her... so they categorize her as a one hit "R&B singer" with her old song"Milkshake"- and the reality is... she has done SO MANY other things after "Milkshake" but that's all that most people remember her for.
DAMN the music industry for shelving intelligent, creative artists...because they bring "something different" everytime!!!!DAMNDAMN.....DAMNNNNNN!!!! ARRRGHHH!!!!

OMG. miss June! KELIS!!! woohoo, my favorite records and currently playing on a regular basis is her latest, Kelis was here, i love each and every track, my faves are goodbyes, circus and of course LIVING PROOF!!! she's amazing, i love her voice, her style, her videos, her body, she's gorgeous. Kelis is the bomb.

Kelis is also one of my all time favourite artists. I've loved her ever since I saw her video of 'Get Along wit' you/Saddest Story'. Great stuff, and an even greater artist :) You go Kelis!
