Thats awesome to hear that your friends embraced you! I had a similar experience yesterday whe I met with an old coworker who knew me as a boy before but not as me today. Its was very unnerving coming out but when I did I felt "whole" I dont know if that makes sense to any of y'all but I thought I'd share.
Best,
V

So how was Trey!? I used to follow Phish quite a bit in the early-mid '90's and saw my last show at the Gorge in WA in '99. I haven't seen any of the member's solo projects live yet but still keep tabs on what is going on and down load some bootlegs every now and then. I have been really digging Page's Vida Blue.
I really miss those days and get the urge to re-connect every now and then. Glad to hear that it was a positive experience for you. Nothing like a kind cold beer and sucking down some nitrous after a show!!! :D

Your friend sounds cool, and I'm glad you felt comfortable talking with her. What I'm wondering is which band....could it be Brothers Past?

It was a good show but I definatly can't do the concert thing like I used to. More important matters to attend to.
Yeah, I feel the same way. I do like to catch a good band now and then when they are close by, but my daze on the road are long gone.
My friend just picked up a set of tickets for Roger Waters in Vancouver which I was pretty pretty jazzed about after reading this:
"Set One will be a comprehensive overview of Waters' music including
early Pink Floyd material; classic compositions from the masterpiece
"The Wall"; beloved pieces from "Animals," "Wish You Were Here," and
"The Final Cut"; and songs from Waters' solo tour de force: "Amused
To Death."
Set Two will consist of Roger Waters and full band performing "The
Dark Side Of The Moon," one of the defining works of rock music
history, from start-to-finish. Waters last performed "The Dark Side Of
The Moon" live in America with Pink Floyd more than 30 years ago"

I saw Roger Waters at the Gorge (an outdoor venue) a few years ago, it still stands out as an all time favorite, I should check into his latest tour.
