Anyone watching the Discovery Channel where they are talking about the Tomb Of jesus? Im watching that right now... And its wierd cause they are wondering if this is going to Change the Christian Belief... But I doubt it will change anything... Who knows? Any Ideas? I miss about 10 minutes of it, but lets see Ill post when its done

Okay so far they Found the Tomb of Joseph and Mary, and Tried doing some Forensics ont hem, Findings are that Joseph and Mary were a Married couple, but im sure theres more to it than that and I really cant explain between Commercials, so Ill keep posting here and there so I can analyze what I seen, In case I get interrupted, Im very forgetful!

I doubt it will have any real lasting impact, but whether it's true or not, I think it serves to shed some light on the gnostic gospels which have been in disfavor in Xtianity since the 4th century yet reflect arguably the most important sect of Xtianity in the first three centuries.

Even if the find some kind of undisputable proof that flies in the face of Xtianity, they won't believe it. You really have a hard time changing peoples ideas on politics and religion.

The best way to describe the religious nuts who won't believe this, if it's true that is, would be like this.

So true everyone! And good one, Tonka lol, Anyways, so they were in the Tomb and then they heard some Noise outside... The IAA told them they need to cover the tomb back up, Which is stupid cause The owner of the Place, said that they were the ones who had it closed up cause the Kids were Going down in there and playing... How akward, ya know, Everyones been searching for this place for GOD KNOWS HOW LONG (haha sorry had to crack one lol) anyways, and to think it was just there, Open to the Visible eye... That KIDS were just Playing in it... Yeah, well It doesnt change my view on things, but then again I dont believe most of what The Bible says anyways.

BTW has anyone heard that theres an Obstruction in the Mountain that Noahs Ark landed on? My BF was telling me something about it.

Nah, it'll never change the way people think about their religion. It'll be hard to prove something to be concrete this far in the future. There are too many centuries of tradition to be wiped away by one supposed "finding."

I know some pieces of a settlement have been found on the floor of the entrance to the black sea.

At some point, there was a land bridge between Europe and the middle east near where Thracian Byzantium was located.

All the more evidence that supports the theory that the Black Sea flooded...

The only differences between Catholics and other religious cults are the fancy hats the higher-ups wear and the crap that they make the masses drink isn't poisoned.

They're all crazier than a sack of weasels. Religion makes a person soft in the head. Evolution? Nonsense. Fossil record? Pfft, God placed all the dinosaurs in layers of rock. Carbon dating? Scientific lies. I really, really have a problem with wilful ignorance.

When a person says "You must have faith", what they really mean is "Trust me". We tell children not to trust strangers for a REASON. Strangers are usually out to do something stupid to them... in this case, brainwashing.

Expect total discreditation of this tomb thingie by every organized Catholic-style religion that exists.
