How Annoying Is Maury

I hate this guy with a passion. How many DNA tests do you have to give a woman whose got 6 plus kids before it starts getting old? How tiring does it get to convince some trailer park family to get their kid to act like a brat for attention? What comfort or legetimacy does this man get from stating the obivous during every show he has? I don't think there is a worse show on television (except maybe Montel)- but even Springer has some entertainment factor while this heap of garbage continues to toxically pollute the masses with a poison so thick it will make you eat soil for lunch.

Personally, I can't stand him, but his show draws high-end gurls like Alannah Starr and Yasmine Lee to Philly and that's the closest they are likely to get to me in this lifetime, so I don't complain.

Schlock show hosts like him are like junk food for TV. Not very good for you, toxic in fact over time, but millions of people can't help themselves. The one that got me was Jenny Jones (I think) - where she set up the guy on TV with a gay secret admirer, then the admirer gets killed after in a "gay panic".

I'm disgusted with the punitive damages verdict being overturned and Jenny Jones not being jailed for aiding and abetting a murder.

I once got called by a person who worked on The Jerry Springer show (supposedly) and offered me a chance to be on it. I didn't take it... could have been a set up anyhow.... I had enemies.

i love it how the girls say...

"he's the only man i've been with, so it HAS to be his child"...then when the dna result says false, they run off stage and say "i guess there was one, or two, or three other guys i slept with"...
lol. then maury hugs them and acts like he cares. i know it's annoying, but it's amusing how ridiculous it all is.

Morons nation-wide are clamoring for their 15 minutes of fame, and they'll reveal any and all secrets that should be hidden/buried/shot/never spoken of again just to get their toothless mugs on camera.

The simple truth is, if people didn't watch dreck like Povich, Oprah, Dr. Phil, Springer, Jenny Jones, et al ad nauseum the shows would be pulled.

Seriously, I don't understand how people can watch them. Sure, I've tuned in, but I don't honestly think I've ever lasted longer than 5-7 minutes. I literally feel uncomfortable watching these people voluntarily and gladly trade any shred of human dignity for their 15 min.

But let's not blame the shows, after all it's not like people don't know what to expect when the Springer show comes calling.

I watched the Springer show that featured Gianna and one of her admirers. Anyone that knows Gianna could see that the entire show was 100% scripted.

I wish they (FCC) would go ahead and allow sex and nudity during prime time, it would get rid of a lot of the crap on tv and replace it with porn, which is all people want to see in the first place, and by people I mean me.
