Hi all! I'm Shannon, and I'm a transsexual.
Hi Shannon!
I don't know if any of you know me from other things like Yahoo chat or Femmcams.com, but it's possible. I get around and I'm... outspoken at times  Maybe I even leave an impression on people, I don't know (actually I do, Frankenstein's not the only one that's been chased with torch-waving villagers).
Anyways, hi, how are ya, nice to be here, wow it's sort of pink all over!
So here's my stuff, if you will:
1) Lesbian. Men, I'd love to be polite enough to say I'm flattered if you express interest, but y'all pretty much gross the living bejeezus out of me. Really, really. I'd rather have it known up front than keep quiet and have to make some sort of announcement later.
2) Cat person. I love me some cats, I do. Right now the beasts are about, probably lurking and making up schemes to get milk.
3) Smart. Not "Oh that's a good idea, you're pretty smart" but more like "Is there anything you don't know about? Well, duh, but not much. :P
4) Funny as hell. Make me laugh and milk will most likely come out my nose. It'll definitely come out if I've actually been drinking milk. Monty Python, anything Mike Myers, Fawlty Towers, Blackadder - so, English comedy, I guess (although I'm not ashamed to say I giggle at the occasional fart joke).
5) Touchy as hell. Imagine Mike Tyson... on a bad day... maybe some cramps from bad sushi... and someone makes a comment about how he bit an ear... and then someone else says "Hey, Mikey, you've got a funny voice!". That sort of touchy.
I suppose there's more if anyone cares to ask. Just keep in mind 1) and 5) and we'll probably be cool :P
Oh and the infamous by association?
Well... let's just say WillowQueen is even now drooling on her own pillow... in my bed, and has been since September.
Quiet though, she still has about an hour and a half of sleep left. :D

Hi Shannon, quite a lovely introduction.
I can tell from it that you have quite a sense of humor, and
that's always a good thing.
I tend to think that you will enjoy yourself here as we have a
very diverse bunch of folks, and we discuss a wide gamut of
issues.
The conversations tend to be civil for the most part, though
occasionally a flame war may erupt.

In the event that one does transpire, please calmly don
the Kevlar bullet proof vest, http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l2/magi43/badass.gif
and asbestos panties that were issued to you when
you signed up, so as to protect your vital organs.
Other than that, any friend of Willow Queen must be cool peeps, so
welcome aboard babe.

Welcome, Shannon! I'm a cat person, smart, and funny. Touchy? I try not to be. Male? Well, yeah, I am, but I hope you don't hold that against me as far as chatting in the forum goes. Any friend of Willow's....

Nope, I'll chat with anyone or reply to anything, I guess. But no funny stuff, or it's... you know... killin' time. And I don't mean standing around :P
And thanks for all the nice welcomes so far, even if I am just Willow's girlfriend :(

Welcome aboard Shannon!
You and WQ? Hmm...Don't know which of you two to be jealous of right now...I'll think on it. :)
As to your introduction, you and I have in common points 1 thru 5. :D Though I have a bit of a technicality against me on point 1: I have been called a 'male lesbian', which does have a lot more to it than the wiseass remark "You are what you eat". Someone fine-tuned the comment by saying it had something to do with my overall mindset.
Silly. They were assuming I =had= a mind to begin with. :-D
Anyway, if you can squeeze more posts in between the spam attacks, I'm sure we'll get along famously (Or, as you say, infamously).

Robin/Richie/whichever voice is controlling you now - your eyes are buggin'. Care to share with the class?
I know, I know. Too much fabulous me, too short a time. It's overwhelming to some.
Try not to think about me and Will getting it on. You'll just die :P

Male lesbians?
You mean you wear black heavy shoes, plaid shirts, slick your hair back, play pool and smack around your little blonde girlfriend when she doesn't buy your smokes? :P
You mean you burnt your bra and write feminist diatribes about the evils of men and how women are being oppressed? :P
There was a "male lesbian" character on The L-Word in season 2, I think. He called himself Lisa and damned if it wasn't the oddest thing to deal with in a storyline. I think he cried after he and Alice had sex.
This is me poking fun at you  --------------> :-)
Poke poke. :P

Have you seen the Geico ads on television? Have you see the one with Little Richard? The woman in the commerical says "My husband was returning home after thanksgiving when he hit a dear!" but Little Richard translates it "Oh My God look out! Look out!!!!" Now, apply that same look- that same intensity and that same pitch and tone to the comments I've highlighted and you might come that much closer to having your very own "gravey, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce... yeeeeeaaaahhhhhhhhh ohhhhh!!!!"

I think Right Said Fred said it best...

I usually find those who think they're the funniest, or the cleverest - are often the dullest. Although it is a talent, being able to amuse or impress yourself. Like those people who love to extoll, "yeah, it was crazy, we're just such a crazy group..." er, right.
Next.

See now I'm thinking of Steve Martin and his "Wild And Crazy Guys" thing on SNL.
Oh and I wasn't talking about me being clever, but the person with the Little Richard... nonsense? WTF was that all about? I'm thinking LSD is not something that Robin/Richie should be putting on their cornflakes. Seriously I've read some of those posts. Someone needs a whackin' with the clue bat.
On to bigger and better things. HI EVERYONE!
Oh and Seanchai? Nice sites, love the work. :-D
