I should have posted this ages ago, but for anyone interested, First Event is being held at the Burlington Marriott in Burlington, MA, from Jan 17-21. It's one of the oldest and the second largest (after Southern Comfort) TG event in the US, and is hosted by Tiffany Club of New England. I will be there for the Friday night Fashion Show/Dinner and the URNA get-together afterwards.

Here's a detailed description:

First Event 2007
SPORG ID: 66710

First Event is one of the oldest and largest Transgender events in the US. It is sponsored by the Tiffany Club of New England, a non profit organization dedicated to providing support and education to the Transgender community.

With a large diversity of workshops and presentations combined with fun social events, First Event has traditionally been one of the premier events for learning the latest information, celebrating with old friends and making new ones.

This year’s theme is Building Bridges to all our communities, and it is our hope that First Event will also be a forum for bringing together all of the diversity that makes up the Transgender Community.

We are thrilled to have Helen Boyd be our keynote speaker this year - her unique and witty perspective should be entertaining and thought-provoking. SIGN UP NOW!
