Mine is currently MsDazzler. Whenever she posts someone finds something to argue with her about and I enjoy to watch the banter flicker back and forth. She also has a curiosity that is extemely attractive and naiive. Sometimes when I read her posts I feel like I am intruding. She rarely seems hearty like TheBeardedOne- but the genius in her words is the simplicity of the language- fierce and to the point. Dazzler cuts thru the cheese like a razor slices through butter.

Did you just say Dazzler cuts the cheese?

I've too many favourite posters - unfortuantely a few least favourite also.

I could never pick one, though I have many. Some are friends in "real" life (meaning we've gotten together outside of cyberspace) and others only in the etheral realms of the Internet, but they are still, as the youth of America say, "my peeps."

There is alot of good posters but I think my favourite is that Farrah Fawcett poster from the 80's. Every guy had it on his wall.
:D

The original Star Wars poster is up there too.

Loved the Hildebrand artwork in those (And the original McQuarry as well).

I would have to go with the one of Heidi, in the fur bikini, that was advertised in all of those old Warren SF magazines of my youth.

I wanted to get her to autograph one for me at some point (We used to hang out every so often, some years ago), but her dad scarfed them all up at the Warren bankruptcy sale after Harlan Ellison sued Jim Warren over the Boy and His Dog fiasco.

I never heard whether or not he got the Sopwith Camel.

But yah, the Heidi poster. :unibrow:

And damn! This advert brings back memories! Though Isaac and Phil have long since past, Forry still appears from time to time.

Wow i think i like Heidi better than Farrah!

I actually have the portfolio of Ralph Mcquarries original drawing prints.
It might be worth something if the cover wasn't all ratty.

I masturbated to this poster and spilt the contents of my balls unto it- ushering in a new millenium.

I must be honest, I too have had several sessions in my youth fantasizing about Ms. Fawcett.

Oh, and Heidi aged so damned well. :D I haven't seen her in some years, <Thinking> at least fifteen years or so, but she was always a stunner. Very sharp and fun to be with. Her mother hated me.

I had the pleasure of meeting one of the brothers Hildebrand in Rochester, as he was working on his horror film, Deadly Spawn. "Trust me", I told him "Stick to the art!".

Many people have made great posts and comments, but if I must chose:

It is a tie between Juliana_Dominguez and MsDazzler for the quality and quantity of their questions.

As to responses, Ecstatic often has me heading to the reference materials.

And for the guy that has me rolling in the aisles, "The General' aka "BeardedOne'.

Thanks, maggiegee. I must say, your thoughtful and thorough posts have the same effect on me: I'm always learning something from you, or at least refining the concepts I already hold on a topic. And you should see the Bearded One and myself when we get together: conversations tend to take very interesting twists!

I also agree regarding Juliana and MsDazzler. Other favorite posters of mine include Kalina, who always brings an interesting angle with a lot of experience to her posts; Willow, who makes me laugh and think at that same time; Xander (where have you been lately, dude?) and Syntax (among others) for their wit and humor; Texxx for his erudition and breadth of knowledge (time to revive the Stumper thread?); Jordan, seanchai, tsluva and so many others. That's what makes this a great community: the number of interesting people with different backgrounds who can share so much in dialogue.

I, too find maggie gee post thoughtful and thorough. She always backs up what she says. Others I like are: Willow- for her humour and honesty. Julianna- because she's very vibrant and seems like she loves life. Jordan because I think she's just super cool and cute. Ecstatic for his PhD in just about everything. Truth is there are so many, I could go on and on. Forgot one, Richie- his off the wall post and commentaries are quite refreshing and I find myself looking forward to them.

I finally got arond to checking posts, and I checked this one out.. Thanks, guys! I know I ve posted tons in the past and my postings have dwindled lately.... Blame the TWO jobs I am juggling! but have no fear.. my second job is coming to an end next week, finally... so I ll have just one job with normal hours... and I ll be here to torment you MORE with my "naive and attractive" curiosity like Richie put it. lol

For me, my favorite posters are the people who I have already met in person.... Thsu their postings are more personal....

Kalina, Xander, Moni, Gia, and now Ecstatic! :)

Though... Maggie, I hardly see brief postings from you, yours are always in depth and your analysis tend to be detailed. I know whenever I want a good reading, I can rely on you. :)

Richie, you deeply disturb me with your disturbing posts. LMAO

Awww! Thanks guys and girls! :-D I love you, too!

It's been a while since I posted, I know, but I'll be back in full swing soon. I just have to deal with some family issues first.

*puts a red cap on Kalina*

Feel free to slide down my chimney *puts a fluffy pillow in the fire place and puts a glass of wine and some Langoustine on the side*

After that, I'll leave a beartrap in the fireplace, so I can take Santa hostage  :D :)
