I don't only dabble in hip hop music, in fact some of my favourite tracks are not even rap related in any way shape or form...

the latest aussie band to tear up the world

Wolfmother

YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

Joker and the thief - Bloody Brilliant. The whole 'Punk' scene gives me the shits now, we need more music like this.

:-D

I don't know Wolfmother, but when I read "joker and the thief" I immediately think of Dylan's All Along the Watchtower: "'There must be some way out of here,' said the Joker to the Thief." Coincidence, or is Wolfmother echoing Dylan?

I can't say I'm really impressed with Wolfmother. Joker and the Thief is probably the best out of the songs I've heard from them. Have heard about 3 or 4 I think it is on Sirius.

I thought it was pretty terrible myself. Not mine kind of music. Hope you guys enjoyed it. And please use condoms.

I must say i am a little impressed too. I kind of like the guitar sound the singer/guitarist has and i also think he has a cool singing voice. Im not too into the actual song though but its something that would probably grow on me. Also like the singers afro too, his voice reminds a bit of Mars Volta. I saw them do a cover of Led Zeppelins Communication Breakdown, and thought they nailed it pretty well. The name of the band is pretty cool too
