since I know there are several comic book fans on here I thought I would post that Dave Cockrum died. he was responsible for revamping the X-Men in the 70s and making them the hit they are today.
he died wearing his superman pajamas and is going to be buried in a green lantern tshirt. :)
the article I read said he cried when watching the movies...not because he got stiffed on any royalties but because he was so happy to see his creations come to life.

Yes a very sad day indeed. I loved his work as a kid. He will be missed.

There are still the Famous Other Ones remaining .....

John Romita
Sal Buscema
John Buscema
Paul (don't remember his name)

I thinik I forget someone else, too...

Well, the rest of The Big Team that created the X-Men is still there.

Yo know what? Now, after the X-Men Trilogy at the Movies, I'm dreaming about the meeting of the Silver Surfer with the Fantastic Four...

Ahhh, nostalgia of my youth... *BIG SIGH*

My brother told me this today. I remember collecting comics in the 80s, and seeing his work in X-Men.
