I was pondering this earlier, after I witnessed some events that disturbed me greatly. Please, I urge all to answer or atleast attempt to answer this question as sincerely as you can.
Do you think that justice can exist with equality? Or do you think for Justice to exist, there must be some level of inequality?

When you consider some of the results from trails in our courts I am not sure that it is justice for all. At least not the same justice with the right lawyer based on your ability to pay justice does seem to favor the rich or important people. Perfect example are some of the politicians who after years of corruption end up with a short sentence in a minimal securtity prisions more like a country club. Where if we were caught doing the same thing we would get 20 years in a state pen.
So my vote would be Justice survies with some inequality.

I think justice is a matter of perspective more than anything else – and it certainly isn't blind. Honestly, I don't believe it's it exists in any truly objective sense.
Notions of social contract theory aside, the only real guarantor of justice a man has is his own strength of will.

It's a matter of point-of-view: from the perspective of someone found guilty and sentenced to death or life imprisonment, of course there's no equality. The very act of exacting justice in such a sense is founded upon inequality: the lack of parity between the winner and the loser. But in principle, justice is (or should be) based on the equality of all men and women, that we all have equal rights in our culture.

Only god can deliver true justice. God is not equal to men therefore justice requiers a pure perfect being to deliver it. Therefore justice requiers that we humans be lower than god.
That is the religious POV.

Well, this is a really good question and I see the points everyone is making and can see where the ideas come from but if you think about it what Ritchie is asking is…is there something as absolute truth…In order to have justice one must have a truth to prove the guilty part wrong thereby providing justice based on that truth…
So here is the question I pose: A friend reaches into your fries and snags a few…he doesn’t ask and you say dude get your own ya thief as a joke but inwardly your thinking damn I’m hungry and those were my fries…He responds with at least I’m not like that guy over there who stole a loaf of bread right from a supermarket to feed his family…that guys says well at least I’m not like that guy who robbed the supermarket to pay the rent in order to keep a roof over his families head…that guys says gee at least I’m not like that guy who decided to rob the bank to get himself out of debt for all the medical bills he paid for his families surgery’s and that guys says well, I’m not like that guy who robbed the bank cause he can’t get a job cause he’s a former felon and that guys responds with well, I didn’t cheat on my tax return like that guy to cover his debt cause he just went out to clubs all the time and racked up too much on my credit cards for buying drinks for the girls…and that guy says well, at least I didn’t pay for hookers like that guy who says well at least I’m not like that petifile who rapes little boys cause he doesn’t have money to buy hookers and that guy says…what? That’s my truth…what’s the big deal??? Will justice ever be served…naw…not unless you take Brenda’s approach so I must because I can’t draw a line at one point and say the others don’t lay claim to the rest of it equally…

The justice system only listens to one thing......the person who has the most money. :P
