When you make a post, at the bottom you'll see Add an Attachment. First browse for the image file (gif, jpg) on your local hard drive, include a comment if you want, the click Add Attachment. Then click Submit, and the image is included with your post. Or you can link to an image on a publicly open website (one which does not require a password to access) by using the Img button up above. You'll see a "tag" like this: [ Img ] (no spaces); type the url to the image after the tag, then click the Img button again to close the tag.

That's just to post a pic. If you want to include an image in your sig, you have to edit your sig accordingly (under profile).
