View Full Version : functional vs non functional
i used to go to this tgirl club alot just to dance and meet guys as i normaly do for the weekend, guys would approach me left right and centre...then as soon as i started my hormones and became even more femmenine and nonfunctional they never gave me anymore attention and guys didnt want to pick me up..do guys prefer girls who are functional if so then i might as well quit the hormones and live fulltime without them...like i used to.

Like with any situation that really depends on the guy. All guys are different. I know it doesn't seem that way sometimes but we are.
Some guys prefer functional, some don't and others don't care either way because it's not an issue.
As I've seen many of the girls here say before, taking hormones should be something you do for yourself. Not for the sake of others.
Just my 2 cents,
Scott

I don't quite understand how the non functional happens. Even on a regular dose of Spiro after 3 months it was difficult to get and keep up but it was still possible.
Does this change after a year or something?

Doesn't it also depend upon the dosage? A girl I know started on hormones at 14, and she says that as a result she needs only take a low dosage of hormones periodically to maintain her status, so it doesn't interfere at all with functionality (which is important to her because she loves to top). She is very feminine otherwise, with smooth, soft skin, no unwanted hair, etc.
I know a lot of girls also take viagra or cialis to offset the "negative" effects (particularly if they escort, where functionality deeply affects the, umm, bottom line).

Up until now I've had no problems w/ that, but I'm only taking 100mg of Spironolact a day so far. My doctor says that he'll soon up me to 200mg though. I really hope I never have to worry about that, but being as feminine as possible is ultimately what's most important to me.
A med called Androcur is a very common t-blocker in Europe, and is well-known for making TS's dysfunctional.

Im on Androcur and have been for 6 years..Its quite lethal apparently toxic and yes causes what they like to call"chemical castration" when taken for an extended period of time....Myself im opting for a pre SRS orhcodictomy to alleviate the harmfull effects to the liver from the Androcur due to the fact people have died for taking it for extended periods of time...It was originally designed as a medication for men to take with prostate cancer and was discovered to slow or completely stop the growth of body hair...I prefer it for that fact to Spiro as it works 100% better in my opinon...Spiro ALWAYS made me very sick to my stomach and didnt quite have the deisred results I had hoped for...Im not sure if I reccomend Androcur for all due to its toxicity but its a definate solution for those girls choosing to go the same route as me with the orchi...Its only supposed to be taken 6 months to a year before SRS...
Welll thats my 2 cents on Androcur...............
Oh Also....Any Canadian TG's out there let me know if they are having a hard time locating intramusclur injections of hormones....In my city (Hamilton) my docotor could not locate any at any pharmacys or hospitals and the supllier said they are back stocked and its in high demand..

That's pretty scarey, considering there are people who begin hrt by blindly picking things from a list on a website. Another problem w/ buying meds online is that some are blackmarket bootlegs of the real thing.

Yeah it is scary...Sad thing is even my GP didnt fully understand the dangers of it until she discussed it with my Endo...Ive been seeing an endo on and off for 10 years...But he wasnt the one that initally prescribed me the Androcur...I had gotten them of another T Girl GF in Vancouver and had been taking them for years before my endo found out...Its he that made me see the benefits of pre SRS orchi
androcur an anti androgen that suppresses the testosterone.. it is not a hormone or make you even more femenine arianna :? its only good for reducing hair growth...at least youll never get prostate cancer 8)

I'm quite functional, and happy. For me I don't know if a gurl wasn't functional Hmmm. I'd probably still date her, stimulating her or knowing I was successful in doing so would be difficult to tell. Wouldn't quite be like being with a post-op or GG as there'd still be a cock (Big Clit) yet what for?

Intersting topic, but I don't know if there is really a tactful way to answer it.
First, to the ladies saying that men who date ts's do so because of what's betweeen her legs, that's a broad generalization and is far from the truth.
I was involved in a 2+ year relationship with a ts and I've casually dated a few other ts's since then--all but one had an orchiectomy, the other had been on hormones and anti-androgens for years, leaving them all pretty much emasculated. However, none were compltely "non-functional". They could still get their own version of an erection and reach a climax--just far different and far more difficult than a male. Their members did not resemble that of a man in size either.
Personally, I am attracted to ts's because I am attracted to femininity and I feel many ts women capture the feminine essence more completly than the majorty of genetic females. Whether they or post-op, post-orchiectomy, or just on a heavy regimen of estrogen/anti-androgens, it only aides in achieving that femininine appearance and mindset.
That's not to say I wouldn't date a virile ts. I just haven't met on that I connected with.

Well I have never had an expereince with a t-girl so I guess I really can't say which I prefer. I know I could never be fucked, but I know I have always fantisized about sucking a clitty until completion......
