With all these horror stories that we know all too well, I wonder what it's like in other countries for TS women. There are so many beautiful girls in South America, but I wonder if people generally react better or worse to them. The Philippines seems like another place that there are an abundance of girls. Hawaii too. Does anyone here know how much discrimination and violence they face in those places, as compared to the US?

I know there are a lot of girls in the Phils, but don't they have no rights and are still considered male by the government? I thought other than the tourism and such that they had it pretty bad. Maybe I am wrong?

Maybe I am wrong? That's true. They can't even legally get 'scripts for meds. But, from the ones that I know from MySpace, it seems like they're still more out in the open about who they are. I don't know about them having "no rights". The ones that I talk to have jobs and supportive parents, but I don't know how common that is.
