Review of Living Dolls Lounge...

Moderators, I am not sure if this is the right forum or I am supposed to post this in the events forum... move it there if it s more appropriate there. I just wanted to give my own review of Living Lounge Dolls last night. (Living Lounge Dolls is Allanah's parties on Thursdays in Manhattan)

I did not enjoy it. I definitely got a vibe for a cutthroat environment. It is for the best of the best.

All the Tgrrls there were dressed to the hilt showing off their hormone or implant-induced asses/tits. I actually felt conservative and modest even though I was dressed sexy. Every single one of them were after any available man, especially if they were single. I tried smiling and making eye contact with Tgrrls, but they did not respond. Gave me evil eyes. The scene is not really welcoming for naive or new T-girls (like me). And god forbid cross-dressers or first-time guys going there. heh. Ziegfelds (a now-defunct club in DC) was a very welcoming environment for everyone.

And the guys there... Wow... They are really defensive.. That s all I can say.

I was apalled when I was sitting on the toilet peeing then all of sudden a black dude barges into the bathroom and takes his cock out... making the sign for $$$.. I was like fuck off get out! Straight men dont act like this in straight clubs or they d get kicked out.

I had more fun at Moni's parties down in D.C. than up here.

Curious; do you mean the male populous at this event was trying to justify their reason for being there so as not to be judged wrongly? Or do you mean something else? From your assessment of the event, it sounds like it was more about promotion. I have never been to this or any other similar event, but I have a great curiosity and interest to attend one such party.

actually it sounds like theres a lot of pay for play going on, but not sure why the guys would be so defensive unless they are just dealing with the small talk until the requirements for anything more are spelled out. Maybe a few of them are just hoping to find mrs. right but not having much luck in a hustle kind of envronment?

I'm sorry u had a bad time- but I am not sure what u mean by a 'cut throat' enviroment. First of all, this is NYC so it takes a little bit of time to get to know people- especially the girls. However, there has never been a fight or problem at the 'Living Dolls Lounge' EVER. In fact, I find most of the girls and guys that come very friendly. And quite honestly- the evil eye thing sounds a little paranoid. I am sure u are secure of who you are so if someone gives u a dirty look, smile back- kill them with kindness.
In my case, sometimes people think I am not nice because I don't say hi in the club and it is not because I am being shady- it's because I am nearsighted and have trouble seeing in the dark as well with my contacts.

If some creep barged in the bathroom I am sorry about that- you should have called security and had him escorted out. And as far as straight clubs- trust me, nothing goes on at tranny clubs that does not go on at straigt clubs- even worse. You have people that act crazy everywhere.

As far as the enviroment not being welcoming to cds, or tvs- that is a false assesement. We have quite a few tvs and cds that come every week- as well as the str8 admirers- and we also have some gay people, some drag queens, some couple- everything and anything has been there and has always been welcomed.

If you feel more comfortable in a crossdresser's environment there is Ina's on Sat. nights that caters to cd's and guys who are into them.

PS. And if you think $20 is expensive to go out in NYC- go out on Sat. night to a place like Crow Bar. My parties have the best collection of the prettiest girls in Manhattan. That I can assure u.

Awwwiez your a sweetie. Sorry bout what happened to you and sorry I no longer do those kinda parties... I'm into the big money like 25 grand in one night type of concerts now cuz the tranny thing dont pay as well BUT rest assured you are always welcome to come kick it at Club Mate 100% FREE, (YOU AND XANDER), and the men in my club for the most part know better, at Mate I have 15 security guards and 4 of which are off duty police. It's a straight night but the same rules apply, If they get out of line they get stomped into the ground. Don't feel bad though cuz as Allanah said it could happen anywhere. The night Ecstatic and Kalina came I believe they met my R&B artist "Genesys Daze" from www.GenesysDaze.com , she's my cashier at the club on wednesdays, anyhoo on the night they came after they left another gentlemen for lack of a better word was leaving and grabbed both of Genesys Butt Cheeks. He was beaten deleriously.

Sounds like you had a pretty bad time there,the guy waving his penis at you is some pretty crazy stuff(you should have maced him) some parties are all about the bling and money and natually are gonna attract those kind of people.

I`ve been to four of Allanahs parties and I`ve found them to be well run and a good time....From living in NYC my whole life I am used to the hustle ways of NYC and the TGirls at the party push the hustle to the limit (making their living).. I can understand MsDazzler or anyone who is not from NYC feeling uncomfortable in the "hustle envirement".... But thats just how things are at clubs in NYC.......If you are looking for a more friendly and less hustle TG party try Ina`s club at Silver Swan on Saturdays Nights http://groups.yahoo.com/group/inassilverswan/

Honey, I m no stranger to tranny clubs... I ve been to a couple in DC.. including Moni's Tgpixel parties. It is not like I felt out of place.. It was just the attitude that disturbed me, that s all. :)
