on June 10 & 11 i will take my Nursing Liscensure Examinations, and yea i've been studying heaps and it's been a really crazy thing. well as i make my countdown to the big day, i've been really getting anxious and nervous about it. well i've been praying heaps too. friends, wish me all the best and the luck and i hope and i'll do my best to pass the exam. i hope i can do it.... grrrr.

well that's nice seanchai, have you been to Manila before?

1. restaurants, well there are tons and lots of restaurants here, whatever you feel like, any variety, you name it, Western, Spanish, Mediterrenean, Thai, Chinese etc. etc. but if i were you, you have to try Filipino food, i believe it's the best!

2. well yea, Filipino food! well you should definitely try Adobo, Dinuguan, Pinakbet, Sinigang, and a lot of stuff... of course the best dessert, Halo Halo.

3. well it's been a while since i've went clubbing, actually, i only go clubbing when there's Madonna night, and Kylie night, there are pretty nice clubs in the fort, in Makati, Absinth.

Have fun here in Manila, it's a great city, and have fun spotting the tgirls on the streets. haha

I can suggest that you go to Greenbelt Mall in Makati. Just tell the taxi drivers and they would take you there. It's a long strip of mall that has so many dining choices.
For best restaurants I would suggest Circles at Shangri La Mall and Spiral at Sofitel Philippine Plaza. They serve a wide variety of dishes buffet style but the ambiance is nice.

For local cuisines you should try Dencio's, Cabalen, Kamayan, Gerry's Grill, Barrio Fiesta. You could find those at the mall, just ask the guards. Well we filipinos basically live in malls haha because the malls here are huge and you can basically do everything there. Actually, Greenbelt mall is one of several malls in Makati. Makati is like the posh side of Manila.

For lounge type bars I suggest you go to Greenbelt mall again, haha because there are lots of bars there you can choose from.

The redlight districts are Malate and Makati Ave. Just tell the taxi drivers and they would take you there. Those places are interesting, they also have nice bars there.

1. There are tons of jobs available for a tgirl. well, sometimes it would be tough because one must have an educational background, with an amazing and impressive transcript, resume or portfolio. Education here in the Philippines is key on getting a good job, because it opens doors to a lot of oppurtunities. I for example is a Nurse, i also have a degree in Automotive Mechanics, but choosing from the two i'd rather be a nurse because it's a more feminine job compared to being a mechanic, haha. i have never worked as a mechanic before, i know that would be tough for me.

There are so many jobs available here in the Philippines, i know there are online job fairs, a lot of my friend, they are tgirls, they would find a job online, they'd have a kick ass resume and submit it, and get hired that easily. There's a branch of our government who is responsible for that, the Department of Labor and Employment, there's nothing wrong, i think the only problem is that when you have a job here, a decent and a regular one, you'd be worrying because of how small you get and earn, over here it's not like in the US, we get paid here per day, in the US, they get payed on a per hour basis. The government is helping, i believe that the Unemployment Crisis that we have here is getting an okay stable as for now as compared 5 years ago wherein there are so many college graduates and degree holders who doesn't have jobs, i think there are lots of better opportunities and career here in the Philippines, as they say, "If there's a will, there's a way..." i know and believe, if you wanna have a job, you'd be able to ace it because you'd want it. Many people here too, seek jobs in other countries like USA, UK, Japan, China, Taiwan, Hongkong, Singapore, the Middle East, Europe and Africa, because more jobs are opened and available on those countries that's why most Filipino seek jobs abroad. More earnings and pay, plus it can help our economy to be better because of dollars coming in to our country. I know a lot of Filipino people are skillful, all of us i can say are very much hardworking, industrious and can have a lot to offer. I think the problem with some girls you're talking is effort and they want easy money, by? doing cam shows, yes, cam shows are easy money, because you get paid per minute, right? i dunno how the system goes but i know some girls who do cam shows, i believe, some girls just wanna have quick money and think of now, i know a lot of girls too think differently, and think of the future, family, and earnings. i know these girls are very intelligent and hardworking, they just don't have that extra effort to do a kick ass resume and to find a job.

e ito game, sa Pilipinas, usong uso ang paputian ng skin, so kapag meztisa ka, maganda ka, i'll share my whitening secret tips. haha

kapag medyo kapos sa budget ito ang gamitin,

nivea whitening milk lotion (isang apply sa pagligo sa umaga, at sa gabi, sa buong katawan yan) 100 pesos

eskinol classic na astringent, i-apply sa mukha pati sa legs at braso. 40 pesos

bleaching powder at least, one a week, yung ettas, ibabad sa katawan ng isang oras 100 pesos

olay whitening moisturizing lotion and cream, of course i apply pagkatapos ng astringent. 150 magandang brand din ang nivea also yung ponds detox, hay, pina-puti ako nyan

tapos whitening facial wash i advise nivea whitening scrub is nice. 100

of course ang sabon, kissa, likas, glutathione soap, pati yung c.y. gabriel ayan effective yan! of course, maghilod ha.

mag sun block din, importante.

payong! lumayo sa araw, at calamansi sa tuhod tuhod, siko siko at singit singit! ayan.

kapag gusto ng mamahalin,

i recommend the complete whitening skin care line of shisheido and lancome

loreal white perfect din is nice!

Dito sa states may iba pakong tinatake like Dutasteride, and Micronized progesterone plus yung estrogel pero since yung 3 mga tinatake ko eh hindi pa available sa pinas, yung Aldactone and Estrofem eh carry na.

From what I remember 400 plus yung Estrofem 28 pills cya so kung twice a day mo gagamitin 14 days lang cya maglalast. yung 100mg na Aldactone naman is 20 plus ata nakalimutan ko na basta mga ganoon gastos noh!!! Kaya girl hanap na ng foreigner para cya bumili nyan para sayo!!! haha

Hi sis... eto bang mga sugeested med mu eh over the counter lang? Im talking about the Aldactone and Estrofem.... over the counter lang ba ito or kailangan pa ng prescription? Im using diane 35 too sinasabayan ko xa ng LADY pills.... pero hininto ko na ung Diane ang maintenance ko is LADY pill. Thanks sa advice ha I need more.... :D

Uy, I'm crazy about whitening procedures (actually, basta pagpapaganda)!! Not that I dream of becoming "whiter" than Lucy Torrez or Carmina Villaruel, maputi na talaga ako and gusto ko lang i-enhance. Para sakin the best soap para mamuti ka ng husto is Kojic Acid Soap. Natutunan ko ito sa mga Japanera at tunay ngang nakakasilaw ang kutis ko ngayon after two years of daily use. Mabibili ito sa Watson's (brand name: Kojie-san) for 60 bucks. Downside is, magpipeel talaga ang skin mo and nakaka-dry siya so maliligo ka sa lotion afterwards. I use body oil (Neutrogena's nice) while skin is still damp followed by a liberal application of Nivea Whitening Lotion.

Sa face naman, I use Olay White Radiance with SPF 24. Kapag may budget, I go for diamond peel with whitening facial. Ay sosyal! My everyday pressed powder is Neutrogena Fine Fairness with Licorice & SPF 15.

Mahilig din akong gumamit ng papaya body scrub (The Body Shop, Bench) every other day, at syempre J&J milk bath araw-araw para kuminis at mag-amoy baby.

At syempre, bawal akong lumabas ng bahay nang walang dalang payong (itim, na may cutesy kitty cat and polka dot print para pa-girl, lol!!) at hindi naka-sunblock (my picks: L'Oreal UV Perfect and Nivea Whitening Sunblock with SPF 50, may kamahalan pareho pero sobrang worth it talaga!)

Ay! ang gaganda ng mga pinay na ito. Saludo sa pinay beauty. hahahha! My regimen naman just to share it with you is 5mg premarin and 150mg spironolactone (aldactone). Sabi ng hormone therapist ko epektibo talaga yung hormone therapy mo kapag may testosterone blocker or androgen blockers (spironolactone, androcur, at marami pang iba). Yung estrogen naman its effective in low dosages that can make your estrogen level high enough to be almost the same as the biological woman's estrogen level. So make sure you get your estrogen levels checked, also get your testosterone levels checked if it decreased to almost zero level then that would be the best. You get estorgen/testosterone levels checked usually every six months. It is also important that if you are taking spironolactone since it is a potassium pill (it would make your potassium levels go high) so it would be best for you to get your potassium levels checked if they are in the right place too. About my beauty regimen naman, I am very vain back then when I was younger and also when I was in the Pihilippines, I used to buy lots of whitening products because in our culture white is beautiful. But since I got here in the US, I find my skintone very flattering actually to a point where I just didn't care to whiten it anymore. I was suddenly comfortable with my own skin. My face regimen, very simple....I use the 3 step skin care of CLINIQUE, my make-up I love using M.A.C very nice and almost flawless after I put it on me. Tapos, oil of olay body wash (extra dry skin) , Kerastase hair products for my hair (Sa Pinas Pantene yung gamit ko, hiyang yung buhok ko sa Pantene noon sa Pinas), But we have four seasons here in Massachusetts so I have to compromise by buying/using hair products that would give me a substantial amount of moisturizer for my hair. My body lotion is oil of olay or dove. I also wax my face because I can't afford to have the laser hair removal yet but in the near future I will... Surgery wise, wala pa akong may pina retoke dahil i'm still waiting for the right time for my hormones to do its work on my body and face. It's typically 2 years max until the right time to get your breast done or hips or SRS surgery. That's about it, hopefully I've shared some good tips. Mabuhay ang mga pinay! Mwah!:D

well i was about to post that, thanks for posting gia! well here's my hrt regimen as for the moment, spironolactone, estrofem, microgest and premarin. at meron akong stock ng althea at diane35 pero hindi ko sha ginagamit as for the moment. also with my multivitamins, vit. c, vitamin e, etc etc.

Omg, I watched this expecting that I would see a matabang titi but it was just

Anyway this is my regimen: Estrofem 2mg each morning and night; Spironolactone 100mg each morning and night; Dutasteride every morning, Microgest first 10 days of the month every night and Estrogel every morning and night din.

I hate Spironolactone kasi it makes me we we like every time and the fact that it's a potassium sparing diuretic which requires you to take lab tests to monitor your potassium level. Lab tests are so mahal and excessive potassium
can give go unstable heart rhythm which is kaloka coz you're pretty nga but you'll be dead naman diba.

Sa kanila ka na rin magpainject. Once a month or every two weeks. Btw, 158 php yung isang vial.

sa body wash naman, i use olay creme ribbons yung may almond oil, color pink ito, i use a loofa 4 times a week, sarap ng feeling, mabango pa ito.

ang shaving creme na gamit ko is skintimate, color pink, ang razors na gamit ko is disposable na Venus. i shave my legs everyday.

the facial wash i use right now is yung neutrogena deep clean.

sa hair care naman, sa shampoo, usually sa pinas pantene ang gamit kong brand, pero dito i use loreal, ang conditioner ko is herbal essence yung for color treated hair, then once a week, nag hair treatment ako, the brand that i use is sunsilk hair treatment care. after shampooing and conditioning my hair, i aapply ko yung treatment hair care then mga 5 minutes ko shang iiwanan sa buhok ko then rinse it,

after shower, i use olay as my astringent, then olay na total effects, this is one of the best products ive used eversince!

i also use goodbye cellulite by nivea, pinaka-effctive ito! sobrang mawawala ang mga cellulites sa katawan

then ang lotion na gamit ko ngayon is, kung sa pinas e pampaputi, ngayon ang lotion ko is pampanegra, dove energy glow, self tanner! this is sooo nice if you want to have a great tan.

had an amazing night last night meeting with STRAP, the girls, nadine, rica, joy, sass, marley, carla, phoejay, gia etc. were a lot of fun! it was nice that we are a group and we represent transgendered women in the Philippines so much, as said, awareness and empowerment would be our main focus as for the moment, reaching out to the other girls would be hard, but it's always nice to try out and educate our fellow people and fellow girls, i did already have a presentation that i made during my talk about transsexualism entitled "Not all girls are born female" that i will forward to the core group so that they can use it plus i have tons of resource materials such as documentaries, dvds. etc. that can be an addition to what the organization have, too bad i am not gunna be in the Philippines for so long, cause i need to go back to the United States, but seriously the stuff about going to different universities and colleges and having a talk about "Gender Identity" or "Transsexualism" would be a great thing for me, cause ya'll know i love preaching and i love people listening to what i say and educating them, ya'll know that is a dream, like what Sass said, for us Filipina tgirls to unite, look at all of us at that room, with lots of spirit and amazing camaraderie, until next time. I am proud to be a "Transpinay".

It's great to hear about this, to know that there is growing awareness and resources for "transpinay" and to educate people.

ya know what? yea we shouldve cam whorred that night i did brought with me the camera but when i got home i was like, oh we shouldve took tons of photos with the lovely girls! next time. i love Rica, she's sooo funny, and malibog like me.
