Hiyas, I'm wondering what everyone is doing to get the slim waste and wide hips. Please, no "exercise and hormones" lol, give me some details! Certain exercises working best for you? Did you corset train? Did you have to use lipo or some such?
Thanks!!

Suprisingly, I found this gem www.yourselffitness.com

Autologous fat transfer, which is used many times as an alternative to Botox etc, is also used as an alternative to butt-implants. Basically, they perform liposuction and then inject your body's own fat cells somewhere else. I'm not sure if they are doing this with the hips yet though.

You're looking great, Gia. And I agree that regular cardio workouts are priceless for feeling and looking your best.

South Beach Diet (mofidied Atkins) is supposed to be good for you. No matter what people tell you, eating right, drink plenty of water and exercise is the answer. Easier said then done. You have to make it a routine or buddy up with someone (contest maybe).

For a while in "guy mode" I was going to the gym regularly with friends, lost a bunch of weight and was feeling great, but they both quit for various reasons. I tried to keep going but lost the motivation without them... I gained that back right away afterwards. To easy to slip backwards. I've always had issues with this, I was born with asthma so my physical abilities were never as high as I would like them to have been.

I used to have a weightlifting buddy in high school. He motivated me and I motivated him, since then I have not regularly exercised like my high school. I weightlifted for an hour and a half after 2 hours of track practice. I only weighed 135 pounds in high school, but I was able to bench 225 pounds once. I have been benching lately (not hardcore since I do not have a spotter), but have only maintained my weight. Cardio is the exercise, IHMO. Lay off the pop and beer. Water is the liquid.
IMHO, you should not exercise, eat and drink right for losing weight, but to be healthy. Health is much more important than weight, though they tend to go hand-in-hand). Personally, I sick of society saying skinny crack or meth addict look like they are in good shape. It sends the wrong message.
I see your into games try out DDR trust me after you played that you would have fun and lose calories!

I've lost 100 lbs. since July of last year. Now I'm guessing...you don't want to bulk up the muscle, which in turn helps burn calories....but you can do some muscle toning. I would suggest lighter weights at more repetitions. And something you need to keep up (this is something I let drop for awhile because I hated doing it) is cardio. 20 minutes a day on the bike will do wonders.
As Gia said....get into it and keep going....once you're in a routine, it will happen.

Thanks Dazzler. I still have a ways to go...but I hope to be through next summer.
It's tricky to start roseofsapphire. I ended up getting a book and learned to do certain weight excersizes that way. I think the light weight/more repetition method would help a lot. In the end any physical activity is key. I also didn't diet...the only thing I did was eat lean versions of what I ate before. Lean turkey, cheese. It helps you to eat the same amount...but less crap going into your body.
