Just wondering if any of the guys here are in the military... or if any of you ladies are dating a military man. If so, how have you handled your relationship in regards to the "don't ask, don't tell" policy (since they would probably classify it as a "gay" relationship)?

this might be a silly question, but what is it that draws you girls to the military guys.

as a nurse, a long time ago, soldier's are drawn to the nurses care during the war and they turned out to be their wives and have families with them...

Overall.... I find that military guys are more open minded, having seen many things in war and realizing that life is really precious and short. Thus, if they meet a beautiful Tgirl that they fell for, they know that it is not worth throwing it away, you know? Oh, and I have to mention that military guys tend to be buff from all that training.... mmmm

Hrmm, I would have thought that Military guys would be more closed minded and look at this situation somewhat homophobic, with more potential for violence than other men.

DessiLu, I'm glad that you understand this from his perspective. I haven't experienced it personally, but I've seen some tgirls get really pissed off about that sort of situation. However, what if you want to get more serious, but he's going to be in the military for another 10-15 years? I don't see formal acceptance of this type of relationship by the military in the forseeable future.

MsDazzler - I'm not sure I can say that... many of my friends when I was on active duty were ultra-conservative and very closed-minded. It's definitely not worth throwing away a great opportunity to be with a great girl. I'm in the Air National Guard and love it; I'd hate to leave. But, I would probably give it up to be with my girl if it came down to it.

I really hate to generalize, but I think you are partially right. From my experience the Marines and Army seem to have more of the homophobic crowd - more than any other service. But there actually seem to be lots of guys in the military that love tgirls... I think many of them keep it secret to save their careers.

Yeah I thought the military guys were more prone to violence, and that kinda turned me away from them. I didn't really turn any down if they were clients, but I didn't actively seek out any.

Here in VA- home of the largest naval base, i've met tons of military men. For the most part- they are very respectful and neat, which is a major turn on for me. Most of the "working girls" here date navy men.
I dated a Navy man about a month ago that was really sweet. After the date, he forgot to bring back my parking decal. I knew he was running late for work, so i told him to just bring it pass the next day. The next day came, and of course- no call, no pass. I waited 3days and still no pass. When i called him, he told me he was going to bring it right over, and never did. I bet you guys are like- damn, why didn't she just get a new one- but it's $85, and i wasn't going to waste $85 for a piece of plastic. i called him and he would not answer, so i could see that he was being an asshole about the whole thing, so i decided to be creative. I called him for the last time, this time- leaving a message stating that if he did not bring my pass back before the end of the day, that i was going to call his commander and tell him about his dicktaking cadet! Needless to say, I had my pass with in 30 minutes!

Nicole, sorry that you had a bad experience! You did know the right way to get what you needed, though! Although I'm glad that there are still good military guys around. Nothing pisses me off more than military people making a bad name for the rest of us. It's much harder to reclaim respect than to just gain it in the first place.

Oh yeah, I know guys like that. They just say things they'll never do. But it's a good thing you knew what to do. That'll teach him to fuck around.

yeah there is kinda one inconvenience to date military guys. I chatted with one online a year ago, and we planned to meet. Until he found out that I did not possess an ID saying that I was a female (since I did not have SRS ) . Then he was worried and decided that he was not comfortable with the security checkpoint since all guests must surrender or show their IDs. So.. basically things ended at that which sucked, since military bases have ID checkpoints.

I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this. I wasn't sure how I might handle it if the situation arose. As for the tgirls that I've dated, they have lived kinda far away and I always traveled to see them rather then them coming to see me. Thankfully, right now it's not a problem because I don't live on base and I don't go on base very often.
But - just because he would be bringing you on base doesn't mean that he's in a relationship with you *wink wink*. Plus, now most gate guards in the AF are civilian contractors anyway... at least stateside.

ALot of men that us tgirl ladies come across- don't really want to do anything more but to have sex when they want and how they want. Thats why they must pay for it! If it don't make dollars, it don't make $en$e.

I've been in serious relationships before and I've never get the urge to tell everyone he knows that I'm a tgirl. I actually don't tell anybody because really it's none of their business and if he doesn't want anybody to know then I'm totally okay with it no matter how many years I'm with him or how serious I want things to get. It's really that simple.

well being an ex military man myself i was in before the new don't ask don't tell policy came into play and never dealt with miltary men in fear of being exposed. When I was in Germany for 3 yrs I rented a place off post for my latenight fun and was getting major play from those german guys. unfortunately i didn't meet any tgirls there.
