There was a quote I read once:
Lust is wanting to have sex with the person but not necessarily be with them. Love is wanting to be with the person but not necessarily have sex with them.

Lust happens quickly and is often over just as fast. Love grows with time. Lust is you want that person so bad. Love is you want to be with and for that person no matter what happens (so long as the love is mutual and isn't violated, that is).

Love is when you are excited to be with someone all the time and cant wait to see her again, or just talk with her for hours over the phone. Lust is being excited when making an appoitment to see her again ;)

People often confuse Love for Lust, it is hard at times to distinguish between the both but if you know that if you can't live without that person and be there for each other for the good times and the bad then you know that you have someone in your life that loves you and that you love them.

True, it is hard to distinguish love or lust. But a good rule of heart is that if he digs up his nose and farts in front of you- and you still like him, thats love! Men i lust for irritate me when they do the smallest little thing.

but lust can lead into someting more meaningfull i thought,and can become love too :)
