I m curious about them. I have heard so many things about pre-op Tgirls. All I know of post op Tgirls is scant. I don't know any post ops ones. All I have heard about them has been negative stuff.. Like they are depressed and suicidal and kooky...

Also, do post ops assimilate and disappear within the straight community once they finally obtain their pussies?

I think most girls who transition to post op do indeed drop off the radar; that was their goal and if they were on the radar as escorts or adult entertainers before, that's behind them now. Of course, a great many pre op girls are also off the radar, living perfectly normal (well, to the best they can) lives working 9-5 jobs etc. Most guys, and probably more than a few girls, get a false impression of tgirls in that those that are known publically tend to be escorts or entertainers, but as you known, that's only a part of the population.

However, there are a few post op girls who have continued to escort and whose ads I've seen on Eros for years: the gorgeous Milla is one, who quite clearly advertises as a post op. There are also a few girls who are now post op who continue to advertise as "having an 8" surprise" or the like, which I think is quite misleading and wrong.

There have been many reports of post op girls who are depressed, suicidal or "kooky": in the later case, it may well be the result of excessive hormonal treatments which can have negative psychological effects (and I'm sure there are girls here who can speak to that with more authority than I can), which probably means they were a bit kooky prior to srs and that pushed them over the edge. In the case of depression and suicidal tendencies, it's well documented that some girls elected srs thinking it would be the panacea to resolve all their issues around their gender, and afterwards found out that it wasn't the case, or they felt pressured into srs and afterwards regret the decision which can't be undone. Sometimes it's a result of losing the ability to orgasm or enjoy sex afterwards; srs methodology has improved tremendously in recent years, but still sometimes the nerves don't quite heal right.

However, of course a great many girls have srs and are perfectly happy afterwards: it was what they wanted, the operation was a success, they can still enjoy sex, etc. I think the negative accounts are exaggerated, but I don't have any statistics regarding the percentage of post ops who become depressed as opposed to those who are well-adjusted and happy. The risks, however, do underscore the need for serious reflection and transistion before taking that step: if you are depressed or suicidal before srs, I don't think the operation is going to resolve those issues.

Typically the post op girls that are suicidal or have behavioral problems are the ones that had the surgery for the wrong reason. They were not prepared for what the surgery actualy meant or had fooled themselves into thinking they needed it and were not able to cope afterwords. It has nothing to do with hormones.

I say tgirls are better pre op but if they really feel a need to sit to pee more power to them. I personaly have seen some photos of post ops and I don't think it looks like a "real" pussy. I was trying to say that plastic surgens can not make a proper looking pussy, I do think some post ops are beautiful but the doctors ruin a good thing.
sexylexy is right, I do perfer pre ops but if I was in a long term relationship with a pre op and she wanted SRS I would let her, as I said more power. Although it would not end our relationship just change it. You can't make any one do what they don't want.

I'm guessing that most post-ops, having felt that the complete change was truely what they needed to feel complete, would be reluctant to accomodate you. But I can't speak for them. Just my guess.

From experience, I have made friends with post-ops and dated a post op girl. And they were fine. Not suicidal. Carried themselves well. And i have seen a post ops vagina.

i have a post op friend online who is Upbeat and funny as hell, she loves herself and dont hate herself for doing it. I have asked her TONS of questions about it, she is fully able to do it all just like a gg, her doc was so good that she even has a full on orgasm with fluids and everything so i guess its the mentality of the whole thing i mean when you get sliced some people cringe at surgery altogether in ANY form.. i know this isnt anything close to srs and i dont plan on going that far, but i had an appendectomy recently and my mentality was i got sliced and my scar hurt for a good long time... now that i dont think about it anymore theres no more pain, but when i do think *mental wise* about it i feel slight pain so it can be a mental thing that they have to get passed and some post ops that do get all depressed and all that *if they off themselves* dont give thier brain the chance to accept it I dont know i may be just stupid but i think its all mentality!

I know many post op transsexuals who are happy and have productive lives.

It is a matter of choice.

One will never be a genetic woman, always a transsexual woman- but one should DEFINATELY have this operarion for oneself and not for a man or fear of losing the attraction of men. Most post ops I know have or have been in relationships with men who loved them and accepted them for who they are.

When somone moves beyond the realm as seeing a transsexual as a purely sexual/fantasy object- and wants to get to know you as person, an likes you as a person, he will like you for how you are.

Getting SRS is not a magic pill for everything, and as well, SRS is like thousansd of dollars. Guys can't just expect Tgrrls to fork over the dough and get SRS overnight. Also SRS requires a year of therapy and a certificate beforehand, so it is not like you can just schedule one six months from now like other surgeries.
