View Full Version : Orchiectomy?

Getting an orchiectomy means having your testicals surgically removed. I know that some TS women prefer this to getting full srs done. I would guess that it's partially to make the process of tucking and/or taping less complicated. I think it's somewhat safe to assume that it may cause sexual dysfunction, so I have no real desire to do it. Also, I got pretty good at taping when I did drag. It's never fun, but I came up w/ a few tricks to make it less painful, complicated, and time consuming. Anyway...

My 2 questions for the girls...

1. Would you ever have that surgery done? I guess your answers would also imply how important it is to you to be a top. A TS escort that I spoke to, who rarely or almost never tops, wants to get it done.

2. How often, if ever, do you tuck your package? I base it soley on what I'm wearing. And sometimes, I just don't care.

My question for the guys is, how do you feel about a TS girl with a dick but no testicals? Have you ever been with one? I've never met any that I am aware of.

I know a gurl, Mariah Felix. Has had it done and yes she is still functional. As the teseticles only produce spermitazoa, while the rest of the semenal mixture is manufactured in the prostate.

I've never seen a girl who had the surgery done, but having had a vasectomy which essentially renders the testis non-functional, I can still perform. Great question about the functionality after the surgery.

I hope we get an answer

Well, I really enjoy teabagging if my partner enjoys having it done to her, so my preference is for testicals. But one girl I know, a very beautiful and extremely functional girl (as in she can never get enough sex and can cum several times a day), has the condition--I forget what it's called--where her testes never fully descended, so it looks as if she's had orchiectomy but she was born that way.

I've had it done, and though I'm a stone cold bottom, my penis still get's erect. It's unnoticeable to the eye because my sac is still in place. I will need that skin for SRS one day.
I had the procedure not because of tucking issues, but because I started at 21 and my doctor advised me that hormones would be much much more effective if I had the procedure.
Now I do not have to take high doses of hormones.
As for tucking, I seriously tuck when I'm putting on an outfit that is very tight in the crotch area, but normally I just have to put on a tight pair of panties and push the candy to the back a lil and I'm good to go.

Thank you for responding, Morena. Very interesting. Does that completely eliminate the need for testo-blockers? I'm guessing it must, once your levels have been adjusted.

And that's when I tuck too; only so clothing fits and looks right. Otherwise, it's too much of a hassle.

Yes it does, I've never had to take testo-blockers.

Last I heard it was between 1,500.00 and 2,000.00 dollars depending on the doctor. When I had mine done in the early 90's, it was only $500.00.

Yep, unless the girl was not functional before or tried to be not functional after with various hormone combinations about the only thing it will do is lower the amount of estro you need to maintain and lower your libido by a fraction of a percent.

Although most SRS Surgeons don't require it and I have heard many actually discourage it, it is something I have considered for the time being until the money becomes available for SRS.

The reason some docs don't recommend it is that unless you manually stretch the scrotal skin, sort of exercise it, afte ryo uhave had the testes removed, the skin itself can atrophy and shrink. This makes it more difficult when it comes time to use it in the SRS process, giving the doctor less to work with. Apparently it can effect your depth.

I talked to a girl a couple nights ago who swore by it, lol. Although she was recommending me someone in Philly who a friend of mine was considering until she saw him on a Discovery Channel show and they gave him a bad reputation. Plus what roseofsapphire already said.

Gia, it depends. I think for what you do the risk my be to great. Overrall you shouldn't lost any functionality and it does completely kill testosterone. So if you are using a T Blocker you could stop or cut way back.

It would give more free reign to the estrogen as well.

But again, not sure if it would be the best for your career. I guess it would be something personal for you.

Jessica Savano from MTV's "I want a Famous Face: Jennifer Lopez" had it done last week so she would be the chick to ask about it. She's still healing I would imagine so give her a little time before you all bombard her with questions.

Thanks a bunch, lol, but I am comparing myself to the other girls on the board here. Not much competition between us ^_^

Give me time! I'm working on it! Life circumstances are just slowing me down.

I had an orchiectomy back in the day, and yes there were advantages and disadvantages.

The advantages:

1. I was able to decrease the dosages of Estrogen I was taking.

2. The masculinizing effects of Testosterone were halted, nipped in the bud as it were :-) There was also a resultant feminizing effect, in the skin, hips, etc.

3. Tucking became so, so, much easier.

4. No more involuntary or early morning erections thus no "sword fights" with my boyfriends.

5. The ability to "come" multiple times, in a short period of time. How, physiologically, I still don't know. I did not ejaculate though.

6. A sense of accomplishment that I was getting to my goal.

The disadvantages:

1. When I did have my GRS a few years later, my srotal and penile tissue, had atrophied somewhat, they had shrunk. I was faced with either the sigmoid colon, or penile inversion with grafting techniques for GRS.
For a variety of reasons I went with the penile inversion with grafting. As a result I have quite adequate depth. Now, I dont boink "Long John Holmes :D , but if I position myself correctly, everybody is happy. :-D

What would I have done differently: I would have had the GRS sooner. And I would have played with myself more to keep the tissue from shrinking. :D 8) :D :D 8) :D :D 8)
