I have been a fan of this lady for soooo long. Actually I been listening to her since I was like 12 years old and she first debuted with Junior Mafia. She look lovely at the MTV Video Music Awards and has always been an inspiration and a fashion icon to the Transgendered community. She stays done, head to toe, draped in furs and diamonds and her style is unparalleled by any other female rapper although I do adore Foxy. All Kim did was lie and I don't think she should go to jail for that. Sometimes when we are scared we lie. She's not the one who shot the gun so y should she go to jail?

Sure.
He sells a lot of records but its his BEATS and the hype surrounding him that are whats carrying him,not his skills with the mic.
He is a mediocre rapper at best.
For instance lets compare him to other big name rappers out there.
Compare 50 cents and his rap style to say.....NAS or JAY-Z or even EMINNIM.
I think almost everyone who say his skills are inferior to all of these other rappers.

I dont wanna step on anyones territory here, but I just thought it was weird to compare 50 cent's style to Jay-Z or any other rapper for that matter. Each rapper has their own individual flow and way of sayin their rhymes. Now I know some rappers may sound similar, but the four you used in your statement are nowhere near being in the same category. Maybe in terms of success you could measure each against the other, but not in terms of style. Now i do agree with you that I honestly believe 50 cent is a mediocre rapper that built a great hype and image around himself, but im also not gonna deny the fact that he guy know hows to work the crowd, clearly he's doing something right when he's goin multi platinum. Though, what do i know, I like Mos Def and Common more than any other rapper out right now.

mos def and common are definitely gifted in a more poetic kind of way. i've never really been into "progressive rap" but some of there songz are iight to me. common had this one with mary j. blige on the hook and i really liked it. in the video it was about him being with a deaf gurl. i always thought that song was so sweet. it makes me smile when i hear it.

I know which song you are talkin about, a personal fav of his that i enjoy to listen too. Well its not that i only enjoy music that has a message behind it, i just enjoy music that I know an artist has put alot of his heart and soul into it. I like the occasional club music, but sometimes it can be just too repetitious and i just need to here someone sing/rap about anything they are passionate about. And Common and Mos Def have always been those type of rappers too me. Its the same with rock music(a genre of music i listen more), Like I cant stand the new wave of music where its either about the singer breakin up with a girl or how great it is to just party, like come on there is more to the world and life experiences that you can sing about, or maybe not, i dont know. But thats just my two cents.

To be honest with you all I do buy some hip hop stuff......like I said before Im a dj.
But the stuff I buy is backpack stuff....underground and the rappers I think have skills dont get much radio play.
How many rappers out there can freestyle?
Not a lot.
One of the best rappers out is a guy called IMMORTAL TECHNIQUE.
I would like to see some of these big name rappers freestyle against each other.
You wont see mr.half dollar in any of these competitions.

I have to disagree just a little bit with you on this one "admin"...
While 50 is a popular artist, his rap skills are definately not amongst the best...he's average at best lyrically. However, he is a hell of a composer which i'll attribute to being able to hang around Dre and Emminem. 50 knows how to make a commercially sucessful hook. Notice it took him a while to really blow up. When Biggie, Pac, Jay and Nas were all in the rap game 50 was lucky to get put on lyricst loung and soundbombing underground mixtapes...

When he came out with GRODT (Get Rich or Die Trying) I was like, "oh shit Hip Hop is back"...he sonned Ja (Rule) for doing that bullshit ass R&B pop rap and then on his next album he's on that joint singing love songs about fat kids and cakes...lol Kinda lost respect for him after that.

As for Kim, i'm neither here nor there with her fate. While what those bitch ass motherfuckers did was wrong, she played a part into as well.
