I haven't for a long time. In fact, I can't remember the last time I did. I think ya' all already know why that is.

No, it was the whole "turning off emotions" I mentioned before. Not a lot effects me deeply because of that.

i dunno but since i've been really seriously under hormone replacement therapy, i've been so easily to cry... i dunno why? the pills make me weak like a girl! i'm always so strong with everything, when i was younger, when little accidents happen, like me falling from a bike and made bruises that are so painful, i didn't even cry, and getting hit really hard by a soccer ball... hmmm not even... but these hormones make me so low... even very much emotional!

About a month ago, my sister-in-law called me and told me my 7 year old nephew had a seizure and that they were in an ambulance on the way to the hospital. He had never had one before. She was freaking out... I mean, what do you do when your kid is shaking violently and foaming at the mouth?
I have a strong bond with this nephew because I lived with my brother and sis-in-law for a year right after they had him. His first year was virtually spent as much with me as his parents. He is such a little badass. Tough as nails and never cries but is very affectionate. When we are around each other, everyone sees the bond. It is obvious.
When she called me and asked me to go pick up the other two kids from school, I was on the verge of balling the whole time. I had to stay strong and tell his brother and sister that he was sick but he would be OK with out knowing for sure. It was tough. I had the kids at my house. When they got done at the hospital, my brother and sister-in-law came by to pick them up. They had my favorite little guy in the backseat and he was sleeping. I went to look at him and his little eyes were swollen and bruised. I picked him up as I was holding back every tear. In my family we are all very close and affectionate but don't show extreme emotion very much.
Then my little buddy opened his swollen eyes and said, "Hey Unc." That's what he calls me. At that point I freaking started balling and held him tight for about 5 minutes as he fell back asleep in my arms. My brother and sis-in-law were balling too. Luckily the other two kids were asleep. It was the worst feeling and the best feeling at the same time. The kind of cry that just makes your throat and head hurt but warms your heart. I love that little guy so much. Thanks for bringing this up... now I can say the last time I cried was right now.
A few days after all that, I saw a news story that some of you may have seen. A story of a high school basketball player from New York. He is autistic and hit 6 three pointers in like the last 4 minutes of the game. After the last one, at the buzzer, the crowd stormed the court and carried the kid off on their shoulders. I cried then too. I don't know if any of y'all saw that story. I'll try to find it and post it.

Hard to say. Might well have been when my dad passed away, six years ago. But I cry all the time at stupid tear-jerking TV shows and movies! It just happens, that music comes up and my eyes water, and I pretend it's just allergies.

When I used to see people cying over a movie I used to say "those people are very sensitive for my taste", but when it happened to me I couldn't believe it! now I've changed my view I guess.
