I've always wondered how much HRT costs. Any girls wanna share how much they pay? As for me, I get them free :) since I'm native american all that medical stuff is covered by th gov.

I pay 50.00 a month for my pills premarin 2.5. and i pay 20.00 a week for a shot at my Dr's office

jus do your research. hormones cause cancer and double your risk of demntia(mental problems) such as alzheimers etc.

Good to know if I ever wanted HRT ,I don't but hey I can get it for free!

Callen Lorde is a great clinic, but it isn't free. That's where I go.

^^^ - Im gonna start going there as well but they told me that if your over 22 or 23 u would have to pay but im 19 and they said medicaid or w/e u call that shyt will pay for it - Since i have that ... And some of my girlfriends go there as well for there pills and stuff and thry get it for free :)

I wasn't aware of that, but that's very cool. I see Dr. McNett there, and he's a nice guy and has been pretty helpful. I also plan to go to the GLBT Center on W 13th St for help with doing a legal name change. Callen-Lorde will refer you to someone over there for help w/ that. But, other than that, I don't really have as much positive stuff to say about that Center. It seems that TS stuff is not high priority to them. However, if you do want to get some counceling, they only ask for a small donation: $5. Good luck. :)
